Planning Evaluation Specialist, Primary Health Care Consortium 1993-1994 Created, developed, and served as the coordinator for a special post-“Hurricane Andrew” Hotline Project (funded by
FEMA) for the public healthcare system in Miami-Dade County. Established hotline policies and procedures and
identified accessibility issues within the delivery system. Instrumental in developing and implementing policies that
eliminated these barriers for undocumented and indigent populations who utilized these services. Also, supervised a
Project Assistant, two social workers, two public health nurses, and two members of the support staff.
Health Planner, Health Council of South Florida 1980-1992 Developed planning documents regarding acute and tertiary services, nursing homes, home health programs, hospice,
psychiatric, substance abuse, and rehabilitative services. Provided technical assistance in the areas of market share, health
