The CR MD4.0 cassette contains the photostimulable
phosphor imaging plate. The CR MD4.0 cassette and plate
are compatible with existing X-ray tables. The exposureequipment and routines do not have to be modifed when
switching rom conventional to digital imaging.
Embedded memry
A CR MD4.0 cassette has a permanently mounted memory
chip to store the data entered at the ID terminal. The
identifcation is perormed by no-touch radiorequency
tagging via a built-in antenna card in the CR MD4.0
cassette. The identifcation data and the image are thus
joined rom the beginning and are permanently linked as
they pass through the electronic processing system.
Uer friendy
The CR MD4.0 cassette is lightweight and very comortable
to use. It is made o synthetic material and it is warm and
pleasant to the touch, miminizing patient discomort.

backscatter on image quality.

The inner lining o the CR MD4.0 cassette body is made
o elt. This ensures a high degree o protection against
electrostatic charging, dust collection and mechanical
damage on the CR MD4.0 imaging plates.

Unique ervice
CR MD4.0 cassettes and plates can be ordered separately
but Aga also oers the choice o ordering pre-staged
cassette/plate sets. The CR MD4.0 cassettes are in this case
loaded with the corresponding imaging plates and pre-
initialized in the actory. Using this unique service results
in savings in installation and start-up time on site.
