Higher Lexile measures represent a higher level of reading ability. A Lexile reader measure can range from below 200L for emergent readers to above 1600L for advanced readers.

The titles in the Red Rhino Readers series range between 10L and 200L. This range aligns with Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 reading levels; OR aligns with Reading Recovery levelling criteria, approximately levels 8–14.

The titles in the Classic Levelled Tales series range between BR (Beginning Reader) and 500L. This range aligns with Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 reading levels; OR aligns with Reading Recovery levelling criteria, approximately levels 1–24.
