New Software Setup Utility

Your notebook includes a new utility, Software Setup, which allowsyou to quickly install or restore all applications included with thenotebook. Software Setup gives you the flexibility to install one ormore applications, such as Compaq Diagnostics for Windows, asneeded.

Software Setup replaces the Setup Compaq Software utility and theCompaq QuickRestore Application Recovery CD (formerly part ofCompaq QuickRestore), which are both described in your notebookdocumentation.

To access Software Setup, select Start > Software Setup. A setupwizard loads, and a list of applications is displayed. Select theapplication you want to install and follow the instructions on thescreen.

To restore all system software, including the operatingsystem, to the factory image, use the Compaq QuickRestoreCD, which is included with the notebook.

Nueva utilidad de instalaciónde software

El ordenador portátil incluye una nueva utilidad de instalaciónde software (software setup) que permite instalar o restaurarrápidamente todas las aplicaciones incluidas con el mismo.
