Course Teaching Methods
The students will engage in pair and small group work. When suitable they will do role-play to demonstrate their mastery of studied items and topics.

Course Evaluation
Homework and active participation: 30%, midterm exam: 30%, final exam: 40%.
Unexcused absences result in deductions of the semester final grade. Students must take leave in writing a week in advance. Failure to do so will result in being marked as “unexcused absence.” Being more then 15 minutes late for class counts as absent.
There will only be make-up exams for very good reasons (e.g. accidents, sudden illness) and only if they are documented.
