集中コントローラ AE-200J/AE-50J を取付けたときに、以下の図の空きスペースが確保できる場所に、埋込ボックスを取付けてください。

4. 据付工事4-1. 建物工事の進行と施工内容

据付場所に据付けられる状態になりましたら、据付工事を行ってください。

お願い• ケーブルを上方から沿わせる場合、コントローラに接続する手前で、水がケーブルを伝ってコネクタに入らないように

下図の様に、ケーブルに水切りトラップを設けてください。

4-2. 据付け作業[1] ノックアウト穴の加工

手順1. ケーブルを配線するために必要な箇所のノックアウト穴を開ける。

[2] 埋込ボックスの据付け(1) 背面で取付ける場合

手順1. 壁内の構造物に背面で取付ける場合、下図のように、固定ネジ 4 本で構造物に固定する。

取付ける構造物により、適切なネジで取付けてください。 落下しないよう十分な強度を確保してください。

(2) 側面で取付ける場合

手順1. 柱などに側面で取付ける場合、下図のように、固定ネジ 4 本で柱に固定する。

[3] 壁面の穴あけ

手順1. 壁を取り付けたあと、壁面に穴をあける。

穴は埋込ボックスの内側に沿って正確にあけてください。サイズは、251mm(W) × 168mm(H) です。 正確にあけないと AE-200J/AE-50J を取付けることができなくなります。

[4] A タイプ取り付け板の取付け

手順A タイプ取付板（AE-200J/AE-50J 付属）を壁面に取付けて埋込ボックスに取付けます。1. A タイプ取付板（AE-200J/AE-50J 付属）を壁面に開けた穴にはめ込む。2. A タイプ取付板の埋込ボックス取付け用穴に M4 サラネジ（AE-200J/AE-50J 付属）を取付ける。

お知らせ• あらかじめ [3] 壁面の穴あけ、にて示した寸法の下穴（φ 6 程度）を開けておくと、埋込ボックス取付け用穴は埋込

ボックスのネジ穴の位置と一致し、ネジが取付けやすくなります。（※壁の材質により適切な下穴を開けてください。）

この後は、2．据付工事の概要や、AE-200J/AE-50J の据付工事説明書を参照し、AE-200J/AE-50J を取り付けて作業完了となります。

Precautions for electrical wiring

To reduce the risk of electric shock, malfunction, or fire, seal the gap between the cable and the end of the conduit tube with putty.

Precautions for relocating or repairing the unit

The controller must be repaired or moved only by qualified personnel. Do not disassemble or modify the controller. Improper installation or repair may result in injury, electric shock, or fire.

3. Selecting the installation site

To prevent injury, install the controller on a flat surface strong enough to support its weight.

Install the Electrical Box so that there is enough wall space around the AE-200/AE-50 as shown below.

4. Installation4-1. Precautions for routing the cable

• When routing the cable from above, let the cable hang loose behind the controller as shown in the figure below to prevent water from running down the cable into the connectors.

• Do not install the Electrical Box where it may continuously receive vibration. The continuous vibration may cause the connector pins to disconnect.

4-2. Installation procedures[1] Punching out the knockout holes

1. Punch out appropriate knockout holes, depending on how the cables are routed.

[2] Installing the Electrical Box(1) Rear mounting

1. To mount the rear of the Electrical Box to a structure inside a wall, fix the Electrical Box with the four mounting screws as shown in the figure below. Select an appropriate type of screws to suit the structure type. Check that the wall is strong enough to support the weight of the Electrical Box.

(2) Side mounting

1. Use the four mounting screws to mount the side of the Electrical Box to a post or other building structure. Select an appropriate type of screws to suit the structure type. Check that the wall is strong enough to support the weight of the Electrical Box.

[3] Cutting an installation hole in the wall

1. Cut an installation hole along the edges of the Electrical Box opening. The opening should be exactly 251 mm (9-29/32 in) [W] × 168 mm (6-5/8 in) [H] to allow for a proper installation of the AE-200/AE-50.

[4] Installing Plate A

Fit Plate A (supplied with AE-200/AE-50) in the wall opening, then attach it to the Electrical Box.

1. Fit Plate A (supplied with AE-200/AE-50) in the wall opening.

2. Screw Plate A down by putting the M4 flathead screws (supplied with AE-200/AE-50) through the mounting holes.

• Drilling prepared holes (approximately ø6) on the wall will make it easier to screw in the screws. (Drill appropriate prepared holes according to the wall material.)

Then, install the AE-200/AE-50, referring to chapter 2 “General description of installation” and the AE-200/AE-50 Installation
