The quick response of the PNP re-sulted in the arrest of one of the four culprits and recovery of millions worth of stolen items.

“Let us prove that anyone can be a hero. Noble acts that prove one's self-worth such as the numerous touching stories of honest and brave security guards remind us of how admirable the Filipino race is,” RD Valmoria conclud-ed.

The PNP needs the support of force multipliers like security guards since its personnel are not at all times present in areas where the crime is being commit-ted.

CAMP RODRIGUEZ, LIBERTAD, BUTUAN CITY - In order to converse anti-criminality campaigns and po-lice operations through fast and advance means of com-munication, PCSUPT Carmelo E. Valmoria held a video conference with the provincial, city and battalion com-manders here on November 9, 2012 at 1:30PM.

With the use of recent technology, RD VALMORIA di-rected all commanders on the ground to intensify opera-tions against illegal activities particularly illegal gambling and illegal logging in the region. Further, he directed his subordinates to exempt no one in their campaign against all forms of lawlessness.

“Neutralize all criminal gangs to preempt their crimi-nal intents in your area and capture all wanted persons to bring them behind the bars of justice,” he said.

Meanwhile, he emphasized that all PNP personnel who have shown exemplary performance shall be given merito-rious awards.

Along the National Highway, Brgy Lower Libas, Taganaan, Surigao del Sur, Richard Saporga Carannged, 12 years old and a resident of the said place was accidentally bumped by an Isuzu truck bearing plate number LYE 350 owned by Melchor Llanos Adobo, of legal age a resi-dent of Brgy Carmen, Sta. Cruz, Surigao del Sur driven by Rolando Cocamas Adobo Jr. and a resident of Poblacion, Carmen, Surigao del Sur on November 7, 2012 at around 1:30 PM.

Investigation disclosed that the Isuzo truck was travelling from Surigao City heading towards Carmen, Surigao del Sur and upon reaching the place of in-cident, the victim suddenly crossed the road, which resulted in the said accident. Victim sustained injuries at the different parts of his body and was immediately brought to Caraga Regional Hospital for medical treatment.

Driver and the vehicle involved are now under the custody of Taganaan MPS for proper disposition.

VEHICULAR ACCIDENT

Around 10:30 in the morning of No-vember 7, 2012, a dead body of a male child was found floating along the river of Brgy Lumbocan, Butuan City by a fisher-man, Edmundo Gadot, 47 years old and a resident of Brgy Pagatpatan, Butuan City.

Calderon, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 32, Surigao City, for attempted murder docketed under criminal case number 9795 with recommended bail of P120,000.00. Apole was turned-over to the issuing court for proper disposition.

Investigation revealed that said child was missing since November 6, 2012 around 9:30 AM and believed to be drowned while swimming at Agusan Riv-er, Brgy Santis, Butuan City. The cadaver was turned-over to his father.

At the Port area in Del Carmen, Surigao del Norte, Diosdado Balaon Su-mando, 43 years old , married, carpen-ter, and a resident of Brgy. Bongdo, San Benito, Surigao del Norte was arrested at about 3:00 PM of November 08, 2012 by personnel of San Benito Municipal Police Station, Surigao del Norte PPO by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Vic-tor Canoy, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 31, 10th Judicial Region, Surigao City un-der criminal case number 66-08 for Frus-trated Murder with recommended bail of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 200,000.00).

Subject person is now under the cus-tody of San Benito MPS for proper dis-position.

ARREST OF WANTED PERSON

Along the National Highway in Brgy. Doña Rosario, Tubay,Agusan del Norte, Personnel of Tubay Municipal Police Sta-tion, Agusan del Norte PPO while con-ducting checkpoint operation thereat were able to recover abandoned blue Yamaha crypton motorcycle without plate number near their established checkpoint at about 9:00 AM of November 08, 2012.

While conducting checkpoint, a con-cerned citizen informed the PNP person-nel that the said motorcycle was aban-doned by the driver upon seeing the police checkpoint and transferred to a bus going to Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.

Tubay MPS, ADN PPO immediately sent a flash alarm and coordinated to all neighboring Police Stations about the incidentfor the possibility that the mo-

Eight sachet of transparent plastic cellophane with resi-due of white crystalline substance, one (1) pc lighter, one (1) pc needle, one (1) unit mobile phone, and cash money worth One Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Pesos (Php 1.390.00).

Prior to the apprehension, an inform-ant informed the operating PNP person-nel regarding a suspected drug carrier who boarded a single Blue Kawasaki Baja motorcycle (9375 XF) and was waiting for his clients.

Upon confirmation, suspect voluntar-ily showed the contents inside the pocket of his jacket. Suspect and the confiscated items are now in custody of San Francisco MPS for proper disposition.

Number 2 most wanted person in the province of Leyte was nabbed by the

elements of 13th Regional Public Safety Battalion and Leyte Police Provincial Of-fice in Brgy. San Vicente, Butuan City on November 9, 2012 at 7:00PM. Abraham M. Bragas, of legal age, resident of the aforesaid place, was captured by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Alphi-nor C. Serrano of RTC Branch 6, Tacloban City, Leyte, under criminal case number 2010-02-86, for murder without bail. Sus-pect is now under the custody of Butuan City Police Office for proper disposition.

The PNP personnel of Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office led PS-SUPT GLENN D DELA TORRE, Pro-vincial Director received a bounty reward worth Php 200,000.00 from HON ADOLPH EDWARD G PLA-ZA, Provincial Governor of Agusan del Sur on November 8, 2012 at Gov-ernor’s Office, Provincial Govern-ment, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

CAMP RAFAEL C RODRIGUEZ. LIBER-TAD, BUTUAN CITY - Seven suspects were nabbed by the operatives of Regional Intelli-gence Division (RID) in a raid conducted at the residence of Roland Mondejar in Brgy. San Ignacio, Butuan City on November 8, 2012 at 9:00AM.

The operation was launched by virtue of Search Warrant Nr 1214-2012 issued by Judge Godofredo B Abul, Jr of RTC Branch 4, Bu-tuan City, for violation of R.A 9165 (Danger-ous Drugs Act of 2002) which resulted in the apprehension of the following persons to wit:

a. Roland “Bebot” Mondejar, 42 years old and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. San Ignacio, Butuan City;

b. Eccelie J Tito, 36 years old, live-in part-ner of Alias Bebot Mondejar;

c. Juanito Margate Jr., 46 years old,and a resident of Purok 3 Pasel, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte;

d. Nicanor R Tanghal, 29 years old, and a resident of Brgy. Pagatpatan, Butuan City;

e. Albert M Emba, 37 years old, and a resident of Purok 9, Brgy. Bit-os, Butuan City;

f. Arma Alejandro, 33 years old, and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. San Ignacio, Butuan City;

g. Gean B Cultura, 23 years old, and a resident of Public Terminal, Poblacion, Ezper-anza, Agusan del Sur.

Seized items were the following:

a. One (1) pc sachet of suspected shabu retrieved from the poseur buyer;

b. Two (2) pcs small sachet of suspected shabu;

c. Several empty sachets for suspected shabu;

d. Cash money worth Fifty Nine Pesos (Php 59.00);

Suspects and confiscated items were brought to RID Office for documentation and proper disposition.

Police Regional Office 13 urged the public to be more vigilant and to report any illegal activities in their community for immediate police action.

Charged with theft earlier, 18-year old Enrique Bendijo Jr., was nabbed by the personnel of Butuan City Police Station 3 in Purok 4, Brgy. Dumalagan, Butuan City, on the 6th day of November 2012 at 7:30AM. The capture was made by vir-tue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Dennies B. Castilla of MTCC Branch 1, under criminal case number 45403 with Php 10,000.00 as recommended bail. Suspect is now under the custody of Bu-tuan City PNP.Number 8 most wanted person in the town of San Miguel, Surigao del Sur, was apprehended by the personnel of Car-men Police Station and TaskForce Man-hunt Bravo, Surigao del Sur Provincial Police Office at Purok 2, Brgy. Puyat, Carmen of same province on November 6, 2012 at 3:30PM. Noel Limpot Astu-dillo, 29, was captured by virtue of war-rant of arrest issued by Judge Ermelindo G. Andal of RTC Branch 27, Tandag, SDS, under criminal case number 5264 for rape without bail. Astudillo is now under the custody of Tandag Police.A warrant of arrest issued by Judge Al-fredo P. Jalad of RTC Branch 28, Lianga, Surigao del Sur, was duly served against Jesus Flores Acebedo at Purok 3, Brgy. Banahao, Lianga, Surigao del Sur on No-vember 6, 2012 at 10:30AM. Acebedo, 56, resident of the aforesaid place, was apprehended by the personnel of Lianga Police Station after he was charged with carnapping under criminal case num-ber L-2172 with recommended bail of Php 180,000.00. Suspect is listed num-ber 7 most wanted in the municipality of Lianga and is now under the custody of Lianga Police Station.

In the seawaters of Brgy. Taganungan, Cortes, Surigao del Sur, personnel of Cor-tes Municipal Police Station, Surigao del Sur PPO and Municipal Action Team led by Jerry Lico, conducted a joint seaborne patrol on or about 10:00AM November 9, 2012 that resulted in the apprehen-sion of Manolito Adorable Casio, 25 years old, married; Juan Casio Rivera, 60 years old, married; and a minor, all residents of Brgy. Mabalhin, Cortes, Surigao del Sur, who were caught in the act of engaging in illegal fishing with the use of fine mesh nets which is a violation of municipal or-dinance no. 2, series of 2006. Confiscated from the suspects’ possession were four (4) kilos of assorted fish and illegal fish-ing paraphernalia. Meanwhile, around 10:30AM No-vember 9, 2012, in the seawaters of Brgy. Taganungan, Cortes, Surigao del Sur, personnel of Cortes Municipal Police Sta-tion, Surigao del Sur PPO and Municipal Action Team conducted a joint seaborne patrol that resulted in the apprehension of Rey Bicino Tacda, Antolin Adorable Casio and Flory Mahumoc Bintazal, all of legal age, married and residents of the aforesaid place, who were caught in the act of engaging in illegal fishing with the use of fine mesh which is a violation to municipal ordinance no. 2, series of 2006.

Confiscated from the suspects pos-session were three and half (3.5) kilos of assorted fish and illegal fishing parapher-nalia. Suspects and confiscated items are now under the custody of Cortes MPS for proper disposition.
