W h a t w e d o a n d w h o w e a r e

architecture-construction-technical consultancy is a Firm founded 9 years ago by

architect Manto Petratou in Greece as a natural extension of the construction company

Marinos Petratos & Son, which was active in the construction sector from 1960-2000.

During these years M@D irm has worked on many, varied in scale, private and public sector

building projects.

Its dynamic personnel and colleagues, as well as its cumulative experience, renders it capable of

providing completed services of high quality standards of a wide spectrum, in which the

protection and fulilment of the client’s expectations and the quality of each project are the

irm’s cornerstone. Working this way, all members of M@D irm are committed to keeping the

already established with clients (private customers and professionals) relationship

characterized by cooperation and trust.

Believing in the power of partnership development and growth, the company expands its

activities in the United Kingdom, by opening a new oice in London.

In the following pages you will be able to browse a shortened resume of top two M@D irm’s

partners and a presentation of some samples of their work which demonstrate M@D irm’s

approach to architectural practicing.

PROJECT MANAGER

Anna studied at NTUA National Technical University of Ath-

ens where she graduated as a Dipl. Architect.

She joined “M@D” Studio - Architecture-Construction-Tech-

nical Consultancy ater having worked for “DIARCHON S.A”

and “A.Giolasis& Associates” in Athens on a number of

residential and public facilities projects.

She is a member of TEE (Technical Chamber of Greece) and

she had been a member of ARB (United Kingdom Architects

Registration Board). She had also worked for 4 years as an

external collaborator of National Bank of Greece in estimating

property values and she speaks 3 languages (Greek, English,

Italian).

For M@D Firm, Anna has been a key member of the team

as a project architect with strong graphic skills and has been

involved in diferent projects from early stage to tender phase.

She has experience in arranging the procedures for building

permissions, in developing technical details and in project

management of construction documentation.

GENERAL MANAGER

Manto studied Interior Design at Technological Education-

al Institution of Athens and Architecture at NTUA National

Technical University of Athens where she

graduated as a Dipl. Architect.

She founded “M@D” Studio - Architecture-Construc-

tion-Technical Consultancy”

in 2007 ater having worked for 7 years as a freelancer inte-

rior designer on a number of regeneration projects of retail

facilities and residences.

She is a member of TEE (Technical Chamber of Greece)

since 2007, and an accredited building inspector for

observance of building regulations and an accredited build-

ing inspector for energy eiciency in Greece since 2012.

She speaks 3 languages (Greek, English, French) and she is

an advanced user of Autocad 2D/3D, Google Sketch-Up,

Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Indesign.

For M@D Firm Manto has been doing the general

management of projects and has been involved in many

projects as a head designer. She has experience in liaising

with constructors and clients, as well as leading the

co-ordination between the diferent disciplines to ensure

the design intent.

HEAD ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN

Marinos studied at Technological Education Institute of

Piraeus where he graduated as a Civil Engineer (BEng).

He speaks 2 languages (Greek, English) and is an advanced

user of Autocad 2D/3D, 3D Studio Max, Vray, Lumion,

Google Sketch Up, Adobe Photoshop.

Marinos joined “M@D” Studio - Architecture-

Construction-Technical Consultancy as an architectural

technician in 2014, ater having practiced very successfully

his 6-month internship as an assistant civil engineer in M@D

Firm.

hanks to his love for studying constantly new graphic

programs and working on 3d photorealism Marinos has been

developed within 2 years to head architectural technician to

M@D Firm.

Situated on a pedestrian street in

Plaka, the historic heart of Athens,

this listed building from the 1920s

used as a house complex. To trans-

form the appartment to accomodate

the needs of a family of 3 the entire

loor was totally trafrormed. he

central characteristic of the

original design high ceilings with

ornate plasterwork - was preserved

and spotlighted as a feature that is

missing from most modern homes.

he 48 houses complex seeks a new suggestion for up/down duplex townhouses that preserves quality of both ur-
