What is the CogAT? The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is a K–12assessment designed to measure students’ learned reasoning abilitiesin the three areas most linked to academic success in school: Verbal,Quantitative and Nonverbal.
Is it an IQ Test? CogAT is not an IQ or intelligence test nor is it anachievement test. Instead it measures reasoning abilities in the ver-bal, mathematical and spatial arenas.
Which version of the CogAT does Pilgrim use? Pilgrim use theForm 6 exam.
