SILVERTIP TOWERS LLC. – STRUCTURE PROTECTION TOWERS
PURPOSE: PROTECT PEOPLE and PROPERTY
PLEASE NOTE: THE TOWERS ARE DESIGNED TO PROTECT STRUTURES, NOT REPLACE CONVENTIONAL FIRE FIGHTING METHODS OR EQUIPMENT.
ADVANTAGES:
1. Minimizes exposure for personnel to high danger zones/situations2. Any water source available
Fire hydrants Water trucks Via-ducts Lakes Ocean Swimming pools
3. 24/7 utilization 4. Minimal costs versus helicopters5. Volume of water versus helicopters (see attached notes)6. Reallocation of resources - people and aircraft to higher priority areas7. Rapid deployment and recovery8. Helicopter deployed and recovered, limiting “man power” (interface zones)9. Safe “wet” zones for crews?10.Crane deployed and recovered, if required for sensitive areas (subdivisions)11.Minimizes damage and costs in the event of a “fire over-run”12.Has the ability to dispense “dirty water” from lakes etc.13.Possible “Mop-up” cost savings?14. Cameras to monitor fire and water allocations15.180 or 360 degree control of water allocation16.Performance NOT effected by altitude or temperatures17.Possible prescribed burn control – minimizes escapement burns?18. Boom Trucks water cannons will have Lidar heat sensors and cameras
DISADVANTAGES:
1. Lack of a water source2. Steep terrain

ADDITIONAL USES:
1. Dust control2. Commercial and private structures
Towers will be available in 10’- 20’- 40’ heights with “Big Gun” 150’s and or SP200’s on all towers. These guns can be set to disperse water or foam, in a concentrated flow and or in a spray at various angles, to maximize the dispensing of water. In addition, patents have been applied for on a very mobile device designed for “Boom Trucks” with 50’ cranes. This device with cameras and heat sensing apparatuses can be adapted to most mobile cranes and they have the ability to dispense up to 1,000 gallons per minute, depending on available water sources.
COSTS:
The following chart will use a water source ½ mile from the fire area.
The daily cost of a single Silvertip Tower & pump will be proposed at $500.00 @ day (24 hrs.)
Assuming a Bell 205 is $3,500.00 (wet) x 8 hours = $28,500 per day
Above 3,000’ altitude and 70 degrees payloads decreases
Bell 205 with a 420 water bucket with 1 hour’s fuel will deliver the following water:
1. (Belly hooked) 5 minute turn times = 10 trips per hour 10 trips – 420 x 10 = 4,200 gallons per hour x 8 hours = 33,600 gallons
2. (Longline) 8 minute turn times = 6 trips per hour 6 trips – 420 x 6 = 2520 gallons per hour x 8 hours = 20,160 gallons
3. (longline) 7 minute turn times = 8 trips per hour 8 trips – 420 x 8 = 3,360 gallons per hour x 8 hours = 26,880 gallons
SK64 Skycrane with a 2650 gallon belly tanks is $15,000.00 @ hour wet x 8 hours = $120,000.00 per day
1.5 hours fuel, 20 minute refueling and 1,750 gallon average drop Above 3,000’ altitude and 70 degrees payloads decreases 1750 gallons @ drop x 20 drops @ hour = 35,000@ hr. 8 hours x 35,000 gallons per drop = 280,000 gallons total

NOTE: The maximum pressures may not be realized due to water sources and or required. High pressure is not required to achieve distances and volumes required for effective efficiency of the water cannons.
