Philippines hosted the 1st ASEAN Conference on Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ACABE-1) in 2013

Followed by ACABE-2 in Indonesia in 2014 wherein Philippines elected as Chairman of the ASEAN ABE Coordinating Committee

Adoption of the ASEAN Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Cooperation Framework in support to Food Security

The ASEAN Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Cooperation Framework will work for:

1. Safe and Efficient Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Technologies and Facilities for ASEAN Food Security, Bioenergy and Climate Change

agricultural mechanization, irrigation, agro-processing, renewable energy, etc.
