課程概覽
AIM 目的
Provide an alternative pathway for students who are gifted in certain areas so that they can: 為資優生提供另一個學習渠道，讓他們：
1. spend most of their time at secondary schools for a
healthy, holistic personal development;
將大部分學習時間用於學校中作健康、全面的個人發展；
2. devote part of their time at HKUST studying subjects of their interest at anaccelerated pace and earn university credits.
投放部分時間在香港科技大學優先深入學習感興趣學科，並取得大學學分

篩選準則
Students are nominated by secondary schools
同學需經由學校提名。**Individual application will be considered under special circumstances.
在特殊情況下，學生之個人申請會被考慮
Students who could, in the related specific areas,
demonstrate同學能於相關的學習範疇展示：
• Strong Potential & Great Interest具潛能及有濃厚的興趣
• Commitment 熱忱
• Ability Above Average能力**Student nominees are NOT restricted to their study level, except for Pre-Stage Level which is only recommended to junior forms.
獲提名同學不受就讀年級限制，除預備階段只建議中一至中三學生報讀。
篩選準則
We will not only take the result of standard test or public examination as reference, but will also consider the applicants’ school academic result, performance outside school, and teachers’ comments, etc….
我們不會只參考同學的公開測試及考試成績，更會考慮同學在報讀範疇的學業成績、校外表現以及老師的評價等等….
Applicants for certain aspects (e.g. Level 1 Physics and Engineering) may be invited to attend a screening test or interview
報讀某些範疇（如：階段一物理及工程）的申請者或會被邀請參與甄別試或面試，讓我們對申請者有更充分的了解
Advising and counselling by Counseling Psychologist中心輔導心理學家為有需要同學提供諮詢及輔導
Student Mentorship Scheme 學生朋輩計劃Led by DP alumni and UST undergraduates由雙修課程學長及科大本科生帶領
Social activities and social emotional education社交活動及社交情緒教育

• A wide range of hands-on activities that stimulate students’ thinking skills and creativity.
採用多元化的課堂活動去啟發學生的思考及創意能力
Secondary 中學組
• Prepare students for Dual Program which are pre-university level courses in mathematics, science and engineering
讓同學了解大學的教學模式及上課環境，為報讀雙修課作準備
