The business printing market has been given much attention lately by the OEM printer manufacturers. Typically, laser printers are much preferred by the business user because of its high speed, high page yield and low cost. This has given the laser printer market a majority share of the overall printer market. It is because of the gradual growth of the business printing market ’s use of laser printers that some of the inkjet printer manufacturers have been gearing up to synthetically improve the performance of inkjet printers while at the same time launch a plethora of new models of inkjet business printers. IT Hardware Recycling Remains an Orphaned Function in Most Enterprises

A great number o f U.S. bus inesses continue to struggle with implementing best practices in the recycling of their IT hardware and electronics equipment. The IT hardware disposition function remains undefined among many organizations, an “orphaned” function that is neither the full responsibility of IT departments nor procurement or other related functions. A new multi-client study, IT Asset Disposal and Recycling: United States Enterprise Practices and Outlook 2012-2013, finds that more than one third of the companies recently surveyed do not use proper disposition methods, often adding unjustified cost and complexity to their hardware recycling practices. The use of irrational disposition processes remains high. For instance, the use of company staff to manage donation to charity, adding to cost, risks, and loss of resale opportunity, is practiced by more than 40% of the organizations surveyed. Likewise, the practice of storing assets is alarmingly high as is the use of municipal waste services, which leave companies at legal risk of violating U.S. environmental regulations and preventing them from finding cost containment opportunities through resale and other solutions. For organizations attempting to incorporate best practices, their IT asset disposal priorities focus on compliance related to data security, followed by the implementation of strategies to contain cost and safeguard business continuity. “Currently, we are witnessing less focus on environmental issues than in the past,” says David Daoud, research director, Personal Computing and Green IT at IDC and author of the study. “The environment was one of the top two concerns from 2003 to 2008 driven by the Green IT debate, but then the 2008 financial crisis forced a change in mindset. Static Control Wins AppealLexmark to Stand Trial for False Advertising & Unfair, Deceptive Trade Practice ClaimsSANFORD, N.C. – (September 7, 2012) – On August 29, 2012, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals again ruled in Static Control’s favor in the long running dispute with Lexmark. The Court of Appeals reinstated Static Control’s claims against Lexmark under the Lanham Act and North Carolina state antitrust laws. The Lanham Act claims are for false advertising arising out of Lexmark’s claims that the remanufacturing of Prebate program cartridges infringed Lexmark’s patents. The antitrust claims arose out of various Lexmark actions to reduce the number of cartridges remanufactured by third parties. The Court of Appeals also rejected Lexmark’s attempts to overturn the jury verdict in Static Control’s favor, and upheld the trial court’s finding that two of Lexmark’s design patents were invalid. “When we were sued in 2002, I stated that we were in the first round of a prize fight,” said Ed Swartz, Founder and CEO of Static Control. “We have won each round since, and we will win the fight at the end. The jury found for us because what Lexmark did to us was wrong. The Court of Appeals found for us because they agreed.” This is the second time that the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in Static Control’s favor in the 10-year- old fight. In 2004, Static Control appealed a finding that its chips violated the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, commonly known as the DMCA. The trial court had found that Static Control’s sales of chips, which could communicate with Lexmark’s printers, violated the DMCA. The 6th Circuit reversed the trial court verdict and held that the DMCA could not be used to prevent the use of chips to communicate with printers. The case now goes to a trial on Static Control’s claims against Lexmark. “We have waited a long time to present our case on why Lexmark’s actions are unfair and illegal,” said Swartz. “Lexmark had their turn at bat, and now it is our inning. We are confident the jury will agree with us and award us the damages we are entitled.”

This made sure that in 2011 only, there were over 700 containers saved from the landfill!” Despite the enormous amounts of empty cartridges and used mobile phones which Van Klaveren ccc already collects and beside the fact that the economy is not very well, the demand for the services of Van Klaveren increases. “Thanks to our different collection brands in the Netherlands as for Europe we try to expand and last year we have set up a branch in France. At the moment we try to see if we can enter other European markets to strengthen our position in the European market and to ensure further growth… For me there is at least 15 years to go” says a proud Gerhard van Klaveren.

Canon Announces Two PRO-Line Printers

When Canon announced the PRO-1 a year ago, it hinted that was just the beginning. It planned to introduce a whole line of 13-inch PRO printers based on the same technology as its flagship model. Today the company followed up on that promise with two new PRO models: the pigment-based PRO-10 and the dye-based PRO-100, the first dye-based model in the line. The new models feature Print Studio Pro plug-in software, WiFi (in addition to Ethernet), CD printing (apparently a PRO-series feature now) and faster printing. Canon also revamped its large-format l ine-up of imagePROGRAF printers with built-in tools to manage printing and improvements to both image quality and output speed.

PRO-10The $699 PRO-10 uses a 10-ink tank system with Lucia pigment-based inks. The ink set includes three monochrome inks, including Matte Black for matte papers, plus a Chroma Optimizer to give a uniform appearance on glossy and semi-glossy sheets.

PRO-1 If we had one complaint about the PRO-1 (http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRINT/canon-pro-1/index.htm), though, it was that Matte Black soaked into the sheet too much, resulting in a less dense black than we wanted.As for speed, Canon claims the PRO-10 can print a 13x19 high-quality color or black-and-white, bordered image in five minutes and 20 seconds.

PRO-100The $499 PRO-100 uses the eight-color ChromaLife 100+ dye-based ink system, which includes three monochrome inks. Previously the Pro9000 Mark II dye-based printer included just one black ink, making the PRO-100 the first Canon dye-based printer with multiple monochrome inks. Not quite as fast as the PRO-10, Canon says the PRO-100 can print a 13x19 high-quality color, bordered image in 90 seconds

and a high-quality, bordered black-and-white print in three minutes, 5.4 times faster than previous models.

PRINT STUDIOThe new Print Studio Pro plug-in is designed specifically for PRO-series printers, Canon said. The company interviewed "a wide range of photographers at various professional levels to help determine what users want out of a printing application." Print Studio Pro consequently provides "a simple and seamless photo printing solution from a number of applications such as the Canon Digital Photo Professional and Adobe's Photoshop, Photoshop Lightroom and Photoshop Elements," the company said. The user-interface has been designed "to maximize ease-of-use with a number of options to adjust the page formats and layouts, accommodate for different user preferences and manage a number of variables including color management and printer settings."

PRO MODEThe company also touted its new PRO Mode, which "maps color gamut for opt imum balance of br ightness and saturation," even taking into account human perception. "The technology helps to create prints that accurately reflect the image as seen on a monitor without needing a high level understanding of color management," Canon claimed. PRO-1 printer owners will also be able to take advantage of the new technology with a firmware upgrade expected in early 2013, according to the company.

ICC PROFILESCanon expects "a significant number" of ICC profiles to be available at the time these new printers start shipping. Ilford, in fact, has already announced the availability of ICC profiles for its Galerie papers on the new PRO printers. The PRO-1 itself was

well supported by third-party fine arts paper manufacturers right out of the gate. But the company didn’t specify an expected availability date for the new PRO models.

LARGE FORMATCanon also announced its imagePROGRAF iPF9400 (12-color, 60-inch), iPF8400 (12-co lo r, 44- inch) , iP F6450/6400 (12-color, 24-inch with 300ml ink tanks) and iPF9400S (8-color, 60-inch) printers using a sub ink-tank system which allows replacement of the Lucia EX pigment cartridges while the printers are running. The iPF9400S and iPF9400 can now handle 60-inch borderless printing and are more affordable price than the previous models as well.

The sensor, along with the included software, helps to achieve color consistency across all new imagePROGRAF 12-color models.• A Color Calibration Management Console makes it possible to execute and monitor the calibration status of multiple printers on a network from one PC.• The Media Configuration Tool updates and customizes the printer and drivers with new Canon and custom media information.The new imagePROGRAF models are scheduled to be available in September with a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $11,995 for the iPF9400, $9,995 for the iPF9400S, $5,995 for the iPF8400 printer, $3,695 for the iPF6450, $2,995 for the iPF6400 and $1,795 for the optional SU-21 Spectrophotometer.

Lexmark to Exit Inkjet Printer BusinessLexmark International has exited the inkjet printer business and is laying off 1,700 people as part of a restructuring plan to improve profitability. Lexmark’s restructuring will result in job cuts mainly tied to the inkjet business, including 1,100 manufacturing positions, the company said in a statement. As part of the restructuring plan, the company is shutting down an inkjet supplies manufacturing facility in the Philippines by the end of 2015, and eliminating other inkjet development assets by the end of 2013. While the company will stop offering inkjet printers, it will continue to provide support, services and supplies for its inkjet installed base, said Marty Canning, Lexmark executive vice president and president of imaging solutions and services. Supplies will continue to be available through the channel and the company's website, and Lexmark will fulfill warranties. Lexmark will now exit the consumer business and focus on enterprise products, including higher-margin products such as multifunction printers, managed print services, content management and other software products, Canning said. Lexmark is also working with advisers to explore the sale of its inkjet-related technology.

Inkjet printers are a low-margin business, and while supplies can bring in revenue, it is not sustainable, said Crawford Del Prete, executive vice president of worldwide research at IDC. “This is an indication that Lexmark will drive higher price points for devices,” Del Prete said. Devices like multifunction printers and laser printers are either higher margin or bring additional revenue through value-added services such as imaging and content management. “It’s very much indicative of when the markets are not necessarily growing to fuel long-term sustainability, you have to focus on higher-margin business,” Del Prete said. The company was also pitted against established competitors like Hewlett-Packard, Canon, Xerox and others, which can sustain an inkjet business because of higher volumes, Del Prete said. Companies have been adding more features to inkjet printers, such as the capability to print directly from mobile devices, or running applications on printers that print special documents like children's books. But as printer prices drop, the consumer printing businesses of Lexmark's rivals have also been suffering. HP earlier this month reported that revenue for the Imaging and Printing

Group in its fiscal third quarter declined by 3 percent compared to the same quarter the last year. HP's commercial hardware revenue and unit shipments were up 4 percent, but the consumer hardware revenue and unit shipments declined by 13 percent and 23 percent respectively. Lexmark may be known for its printers, but the company has been serving enterprises for a long time, and the company's software strategy is key to fueling growth in the enterprise market, Canning said. The company wants to extend its imaging and content management capabilities from just scanning and capturing data, to making sense of data once it's captured, and moving documents effectively to databases and ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems. To that extent, the company will continue to develop its "intelligent capture" tools and also build its software strategy around structured and unstructured data, Canning said. But Canning also recognized there’s a tough road ahead with competition from the likes of HP and Xerox, which lead the imaging, printing and document management services businesses. The company will look into relevant acquisitions and partner with companies to compete effectively, Canning said.

Brother Unveils Sleek Inkjet All-in-One Printer

Brother on Thursday announced its new Business Smart Series color inkjet all-in-ones, dubbed the Brother MFC-J4510DW. The Brother engineers managed to create a sleeker, easier on the eyes all-in-one printer complete with an easy-to-use 3.7-inch touch-screen display. To provide everything most users want in a single business unit, Brother utilizes its Landscape Printing Technology, which reorients the way color inkjet printing is done. The technology changes how a page is stored and printed from portrait to landscape, thus reducing the machine footprint. With a reduced machine footprint, a printer will simply be able to print more quantities without getting backed up as easily. The 64-inch wide machine features two of Roland’s latest inline piezo inkjet print head technology and is available as a seven- or eight-colour configuration.

Each eight-channel head is loaded with colours in reverse to achieve mirrored ink

order in each direction, avoiding colour order banding and tonal irregularities. The print heads fire seven different droplet sizes that are analysed by Roland’s Versaworks RIP to select the best three sizes optimised for the print mode. This results in smoother gradations and solid colours. Roland has also introduced its latest ink products, Eco-Sol Max2, which are exclusive to the Soljet Pro4 XR-640. The new range supports light black to enhance accuracy of grey colour reproduction and subtlety of skin tones and neutral hues. The latest Soljet features dragknife technology to print and cut unattended in

two passes according to vectors drawn by Versaworks. Roland business manager for commercial print Mat Drake said: "The Soljet has always been our flagship production printer and is aimed at larger sign shops and display producers who have a volume of business to take advantage of the 49.1m2/h speed but their position in the market is based on quality output." The Soljet Pro4 XR-640 machine will be commercially launched from November at a starting price of £19,999 including Versaworks RIP software.

First released in September 2011 the Samsung ML-3712 series of printers are based on a 33-37 ppm engine with a maximum resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. The first page out is stated to be under 6.5 seconds. Depending on the model number, other options/specs are available including MFP versions (SCX). The MLT-D205E/L/S cartridges do not have a drum cover, and come new with a piece of heavy paper with a thin sheet of foam on the inside taped around the cartridge. These cartridges, while looking similar to other Samsung Cartridges, have taken a dramatic change in that there are no screws in the outside of the cartridge at all. There are plastic rivets that need to be cut off, holes drilled and screws installed to hold them back on. It’s not a hard process and it’s covered completely in the instructions. See Figure’s 1 & 2

The standard cartridge (Samsung Part # MLT-D205S) is rated for 2,000 pages. The HY cartridge (Samsung Part # MLT-D205L) is rated for 5000 pages and the Extra High Yield cartridge (Samsung Part # MLT-D205E) is rated for 10,000 pages.

As with pretty much all cartridges these days, the cartridge has a chip and it has to be replaced each cycle. The OEM chips are regional so be sure to get the proper chip for your region. Most of the machines in this series when new ship with a 5,000 page starter cartridge. heads of the 3 plastic rivets. See above step for recessed rivets. Leave the end cap on for now. See Figure 4

3) The drum axle arms on both sides of the cartridge stay with the end cap. There is no need to remove them. See Figure 5

5) While still on the same side, locate the two tabs. Press in on each tab, and remove the end cap. The drum axle arm will come off with the end cap. blade, remove the blade. It’s easy to remove if you slide it out from under the PCR holders. See Figures 20 & 21

13) Clean out all the waste toner from the hopper. Make sure the seals are clean. See Figure 22

14) Carefully remove the wiper blade seal from the right (chip) side. Peel the seal back around 3”. See Figure 23

15) Pry up the chip cover. See Figure 24

100% silicon if the seal tore to prevent any leaks. Just like the OEM did, be careful not to use any silicon on the chip cover area. (Otherwise it will be very difficult to replace the chip on the next cycle. See Figure 28

20) Install the new wiper blade and two screws. It is easier to install if you slide it in under the PCR holders. See Figure 29

21) Place a small amount of conductive grease in the holders, and install the PCR. The long shaft side to the gear or non-chip side. See Figure 30

22) Install the drum with the large gear to the gear or non-chip side of the drum into the waste hopper. See Figure 3123) On the supply hopper, carefully pry out the fill plug and dump out any remaining

toner. The fill plug can be difficult to remove as it is recessed. Take a small common screwdriver and work it around the edge lifting slightly until it comes loose. See Figure 32

24) Pry off the gear plate, remove the gears. See Figures 33 & 34

25) Remove the developer roller bushings from both sides. See Figures 35 & 36

29) Make sure the doctor blade sealing foam and the developer rollers seals are clean and intact. See Figure 39

30) Clean the Dr. Blade edge so there is no evidence of build up along the edge. If any buildup exists, the cartridge will streak. No chemicals should be used. We have found using a clean ice cream type wooden stick works great for scraping the blade clean without damaging it. See Figure 40

31) Install the seal when available through the developer roller opening. See Figure 41

32) Pull the tail of the seal through the seal port. See Figure 4233) Install the doctor blade and two screws. See Figure 4334) Clean the developer roller with a dedicated DVR cleaner, and replace into the hopper. Place the long shaft side to the

In 2012, the debt crisis appears to be getting worse as time moves forward. The popularity of Mobile Smart Devices also brings a negative effect to the digital imaging industry. Consequently, a sales recession on both hardware and consumables has inevitably happened to the OEMs – Lexmark, HP, Xerox etc. While the OEMs in East Asia, like Canon and Epson, are still suffering from the remaining effects brought by the 2011 earthquake in Japan and the floods in Thailand, add to this the effects caused by the appreciation of the Japanese Yen, and together this has created a large decrease in their sales revenue. This unfortunate situation has encouraged the OEMs to try everything possible to raise their revenue. As their main profit pool is in consumables, it has become the first

place they put their attention. However, the market split between traditional compatibles and OEM consumables has been remaining stable, and customer loyalty has remained high. As a fast growing business of the aftermarket, remanufacturing has forced the OEMs to speed up their action of protecting their own profits. Admittedly, patent application and patent lawsuits are the most effective tools for the OEMs to suppress the aftermarkets. However, remanufacturing today is facing less suppression from the OEMs because of their vague definitions in the industry. As the government and consumers are more and more concerned with environmental protection, remanufacturing has been likewise accepted by more and more users. The OEMs have been encouraging the

consumers to return t h e u s e d e m p t y cartridges directly t o t h e m a n d then complete l y destroy ing them in order to ensure t h a t n o p r o f i t i s l eaked to the remanufacturers. H o w e v e r, s i n c e the vast majority o f u s e d e m p t y cartridges can be remanufactured, t h i s a c t i o n h a s r e s u l t e d i n t h e u n c o n s c i o n a b l e wasting of many o f t h e e a r t h ’ s resources. Remanufacturers on the other hand r e f u r b i s h s p e n t cartridges, which means that there a r e s t i l l e m p t y cartridges flowing

into the aftermarket. In this situation, Canon reacted first and sued Clover, one of the U.S’s biggest toner remanufacturers, and 28 other remanufacturers. Clover had managed to sell remanufactured cartridges in the past to avoid the dispute. But since the drum components they use are all newly made, Canon’s suit was extended to the whole remanufactured toner cartridge industry. Recently, most of the remanufacturers have been forced to settle with Canon even though they are offering both more cost effective products and an effective way to protect the environment. Apart from that, Lexmark also issued letters to some American remanufacturers in June 2012 stating that since the empty cartridges they use to remanufacture are sourced from outside of the US (importing empty cartridges first sold outside the US), they have violated the rule of recycling which is based on patent exhaustion. Lexmark provided two alternatives to the remanufacturers – to challenge the lawsuit, or to accept the big fine. Even though one of the empty toner suppliers, Greentec, insisted that Lexmark was swashbuckling, many of the remanufacturers still chose to compromise. Besides, HP, Canon and Brother have all applied many patents related to remanufactured cartridges to suppress the remanufacturers. This is a strong indication that the remanufacturing industry will be facing a big challenge in the future. The above cases have alerted the industry that the old thinking of “there is no patent issue in recycling” has become useless. As one of the largest manufacturers of printer supplies, Ninestar, has worked out countermeasures focusing on a “One-Stop Solution”. While Ninestar respects the OEMs’ intellectual property rights, it has fostered innovative R&D technologies and a global legal team to protect its customers and their business.

一波三折。国外对产品的需求明显的减

弱,增加了我国出口贸易的压力,今年

上半年,规模以上工业企业实现利润同

比下降 2.4%,企业亏损面为 17%,企业

融资困难,发展难于为济,企业效益的

下滑也在所难免。

面对经济下滑的压力,稳增长、调

结构是重要的,提高企业经济效益已成

为体制改革和经营管理中的一项重要内

容。面对企业经济效益下滑的严重形势,

企业如何由被动变为主动,我们不妨从

以下几方面进行深入的思考和探讨:

一、把握企业的发展方向和经营目标

市场变化多端,企业要想把握市场

的先机,立于不败之地,就必须有明确

的组织目标和经营方向。企业的经济效

较,制定本企业的增长战略和措施。企

业做出不同的投资组合选择,将受到不

同行业细分增速不同的影响,往往在高

增长细分市场把产业竞争对手甩在身后。

实际上,通过比较行业增长率与各企业

的增长率,就可以解释为什么有些企业

比其他企业增长得快。企业要寻求增长,

很少是通过改换产业,因为转行对多数

公司而言是“有风险的”。要获得增长,

更多的应该是集中时间和资源,发展行

业内高增长的行业细分——当然,公司

要具备在这些行业细分中实现盈利性增

长所需的能力、资产和市场眼光。为此,

企业在调整投资组合时,可以采用行业

什么是 VAR 渠道销售模式?

VAR(Value-Added Reseller, 即增

值中间商)通过给现有的产品增加新的

功能或服务,以此使产品增值,然后以

综合产品或完整的解决方案的形式转售

(通常是针对终端用户)。这种做法一

般发生在计算机和电子行业,VAR 捆绑

出售硬件和配套的软件应用。在许多情

况下,VAR 会同时提供电子数码和专门

的软件在一台复印机或打印机上。

通过提供专业的服务实现产品增值,

如套餐、定制化产品、提供咨询顾问、

培训和安装。当然,还可以针对顾客的

需要设计一款专门配套产品的软件,将

软件和产品进行捆绑销售。

当终端用户或公司购置增值中间商

的电脑组件,并需要增值中间商提供一

位专家来帮助建立一个全面运作的定制

化系统,该系统用来实现特定的任务,

该任务一般包括连接到一台打印机或多

功能设备(复印,扫描,电子邮件,打印,

复印)。随着接入(多个的)的硬件和

软件功能增强,而实现更强大的功能。

个人电脑、软件和打印配件是增值中间

商的主要收入来源。同样,当买家缺乏

专业知识、时间或经验进行系统装配的

时候,客户愿意购买增值中间商为他们

提供的服务服务,以便完美实现其功能。

增值中间商代理商经常会成为网络

管理员并提供监管控制装置,进而帮助

购买和甄选客户所需要的办公设备用品

和耗材。

许多硬件领域的增值中间商们也

BTA 成员。这些打印机硬件的 VAR 服务

商们,服务通常会提供(购买)MPS 协

议中所使用的耗材产品。

为什么要关注 BTA 和 VAR 的渠道销售

模式?

打印管理服务是一种终端用户根据

每次点击支付费用给他们的服务经销商

的方式。 MPS 模式需要提供服务的经销

商提供一切人工,部件和耗材用品。耗

材产品的购买任务已经转移到在 MPS 协

议当中已经预付款给了的 BTA 和 VAR 渠

道商。许多大型的 BTA 渠道商负责为他

们的客户每年数十亿的印刷业务购买耗

材。

现在的 MPS 服务的经销商只需提供

其配件和耗材需求,为其寻找低成本的

能兼容多种品牌和型号的产品的重要工

作已经转移到提供服务的代理商。以前

的复印机和打印机的服务经销商则需要

依靠批发商准确的产品信息、厂家的技

术援助,Drop shipping 模式发放需要的

产品,MPS 软件的辅助,营销工具和经

验丰富的销售代表。

之所以打印管理服务(MPS)对于

兼容办公耗材制造商是非常重要的市场

机会,有两个重要原因:

1. MPS 直接的提高了授权的 OEM

复印机经销商对于使用非 OEM、兼容、

替代耗材和配件的接受程度。

2. 在 MPS 协 议 下, 是 否 购 买 非

OEM 产品选择已经从终端用户转移到

BTA 和 VAR 渠道服务中设备的经销商。

对于兼容市场的好消息是更多的买

家和终端用户正在接受使用非 OEM 的兼

容配件和耗材的可靠性和经济优势。此

外,BTA 和 VAR 渠道的服务提供商是一

个买家都在积极寻求兼容的产品完全新

的细分市场。

坏消息是,BTA 和 VAR 渠道的买家

比传统的兼容机买方有许多不同的需求

和购买习惯。兼容的制造商和批发商,

应考虑更新和发展他们的产品在新的购

买环境下的新面貌。为了帮助拓展您的

BTA 和 VAR 经销商有许多不同的购

(SmithersPira,即以前的派诺国际)发

布了一篇名为《数字印刷包装的未来》

的调查报告。报告显示,2011 年全球数

字印刷包装和标签的产值达到了 48 亿美

元。

数字生产的好处已经在商业印刷领

域得到了很好的验证,但它在包装和标

签领域的应用还不够广泛,目前的普及

率也比较低。

短版需求推动 数字印刷应用

报告指出,数字印刷包装市场增长

迅速,并将在 2016 年达到 122 亿美元的

产值,2011 年至 2016 年间,年均复合

增长率为 20.6%。这相当于它在 2011 年

印刷了 370 亿张 A4 页面,并将在 2016

年印刷 759 亿张 A4 页面。数字印刷包装

市场的增长主要得益于包装买家需求的

改变——市场的包装种类和规格越来越

分散,导致短版印刷越来越多,从而为

数字印刷的应用创造了条件。

数字印刷和印后加工设备制造商在

产品的速度、质量和可靠性等方面也做

出了很大的改进,从而使数字印刷的盈

亏临界点变得甚至比传统印刷还要高。

据最新的惠普 Indigo 和赛康窄幅卷筒纸

印刷机在印刷数量少于 7000 米的时候都

比传统的柔印机更具有成本效率,而且

短版活的比例还将继续增加。最新的 B2

幅面单张纸喷墨和碳粉印刷机也将目标

客户锁定在了折叠纸箱印刷领域,例如

富士胶片设备就能通过水性 UV 油墨极大

地提升包装印刷的质量。

北美使用 数字包装最多

数字印刷在包装领域的渗透率最高,

如瓦楞纸箱、软包装、金属和硬塑料包装。

2011 年,数字印刷的产值和产量分别只

占到了全球包装市场(价值 3000 亿美元)

的 1.59% 和 0.63%,尽管会一直保持增

长,但它在 2016 年的产量也只能占到全

球包装市场总产量的 1% 左右。

北美是 2011 年对数字包装使用最多

的地区,其次是亚洲。总的来说,发展

中国家对这项技术采用速度要更快一些,

但它们的基础比较薄弱。土耳其、中国、

印度和巴西在 2011 年 ~2016 年间的年

均复合增长率都达到 30% 以上。而在当

今的数字印刷包装市场上,静电照相是

最主要的印刷技术,而到 2016 年年底,

喷墨技术在产量和产值上将全面超过前

者。

喷墨与静电照相各有优势

尽管静电照相技术已经在数字标签

领域站稳了脚跟,但依然逃不过喷墨技

术的穷追猛打。数字技术在标签领域使

用相对较多,但用喷墨技术印刷的瓦楞

纸箱、软包装和金属包装则比较少见。

日前,惠普大幅面业务副总裁兼总经理

桑蒂表示,高性能的喷墨印刷在视觉通

讯领域已全面取代丝网印刷,并将目标

直接指向包装市场。

数字生产的好处已经在商业印刷领

域得到了很好的验证,但它在包装和标

签领域的应用还不够广泛,目前的普及

率也比较低。短版印刷更经济、质量稳定、

能进行按需和个性化印刷、能与专门的

印后设备相连以及使用方便等优点将促

进包装买家对数字印刷方式的使用。

一些大型包装企业现在还不愿意采

用数字生产方式的原因有四个:一是设

备和耗材的成本过高;二是与传统印刷

机相比,数字印刷机的幅面和生产能力

有限;三是对印后加工设备的要求较多;

四是很难满足一些包装产品对特殊功能

的需求。

品牌商和零售商一直都在试图通过

降低成本和加快响应速度来改善供应链。

所有品牌都在寻找新的方式来吸引消费

者,一些国家还通过立法的方式要求品

牌商为消费者提供更多信息,欧洲和美

国甚至要求产品可以实现有效追溯和具

有盲文说明,而数字印刷则有助于提高

包装的灵活性,降低包装企业的库存成

本。

在品牌保护方面,数字印刷也能发

挥自己的作用,隐形油墨和 UV 荧光碳粉

能够给包装带来隐蔽和明显的防伪功能,

而可变数据印刷功能则能使包装具有独

一无二的文字和识别编码,从而确保它

在整个供应链中的可追溯性。

喷墨打印机 OEM 的销量减少了 19.2%

据 IDC 调查报道,明年在欧洲、中东和

非洲国家(EMEA)将会卖出 3.14 亿盒喷墨

墨盒。另外,IDC 还表示全球 1/3 的墨盒消

耗量都集中在这些地区。所以我们根据 IDC

给出的这两个数据可以推出明年,整个世界

将会用到 9.42 亿盒墨盒,也就是说我们每

秒都会耗掉将近 30 个的墨盒。

由于这是一个非常可怕的数字,所以我

们很难将它具体化。下面让我们来打个比方,

一整年在喷墨打印机上消耗的墨水量可以打

印 3900 万张 A4 纸,可填满 4.5 个奥林匹克

级别的游泳池。

而墨盒巨大的消耗量的其中一个原因则

是庞大的喷墨打印机基数。到目前为止,墨

盒打印机占所有打印机的 64%。不过,调查

报道显示现在喷墨打印机正逐年以 1.4% 的

速度在减少。与此同时,人们慢慢地转向激

光打印的领域。

调查报告显示,2011 年同比 2010 年,

喷墨打印机 OEM 的销量减少了 19.2%。不

过,这种下降的情况并非出现在所有的欧洲、

中东和非洲国家(EMEA)。EMEA 耗材项

目主管 Joanna Pupkowska 表示,这种情况

并不出现在所有的地区,因为这都要取决于

不同国家对价格的敏感度以及当地供材结构

的不同,像俄罗斯和乌克兰,它们就非常依

赖批量生产。

要增加投资。诚然,利润下降会让公司对扩张更为谨慎,但鉴于导致利润减少

是海外市场销售滑坡所致,可能会让公司有压力在国内寻找新的增长途径。

经济学家们担心,糟糕的企业利润可能会将经济推入全面衰退。目前,

尚不清楚最近的企业利润下降与过去的两次衰退一样,是新趋势的开始,还是

1998 年景象的重演。当时,即便企业利润大幅下降,经济增长依旧。这次利润

下降来得很不是时候,因为当前劳动力成本上升,同时海外的激烈竞争也导致

制造企业无法上调产品售价。

当然,盈利和经济增长之间的关系并不总是泾渭分明。利润下降,经济并

不一定会下滑。2007 年的金融危机中,企业利润与就业同步下降。但在经济衰

退结束后的几年里,随着很多公司削减成本,扩张进入新兴市场寻找新的增长点,

利润随之快速回升。

盈利糟糕也可能导致股市螺旋向下。当人们期待增加派息时,盈利糟糕对

股市而言无疑是个坏消息。但正如 Money Magazine 的保罗·林姆最近所指,

盈利下降或许不会像有些人担心地那样大幅拉低股价。

盈利影响股市表现,但主要是长期影响。从过去来看,林姆称,盈利增长

和股价波动之间并没有直接关联。1938 年以来,股市最好的 16 年中有 8 年赶

上了企业利润下降。而且,在股市最差的 16 年中有 13 年企业利润是增长的——

这说明利润并非股价表现的晴雨表,事实上可能正好相反。利润放缓或许有好处。

过去两年企业利润回升并大幅增长,但企业依然不愿扩大招聘或投资。高

管们手握创纪录的现金,声称经济看来非常不确定,在美国增加招聘和投资的

理由不够充分。事实上,很多公司都依赖海外销售,特别是在中国、巴西和印

度等新兴市场。但最近的盈利下滑说明这一策略的作用有限。

第一季度,美国国内利润折成年率增加了 417 亿美元,而海外利润下降了

481 亿美元,原因是欧债危机持续恶化,中国和印度经济放缓。如果这种状况

持续,高管们需要重新评估增长策略,至少短期内如此。而且,美国国内相对

较好的表现也让这些公司有足够的理由考虑增加在美国本土的投资。

Static Control 赢得上诉利盟将出庭面对“虚假广告”和“不公平的,欺骗性的贸易行为” 的指控

2012年8月29日-2012年9月7日,

美国第六巡回上诉法院就长期备受争议

的利盟与Static Control诉讼案再次裁定

Static Control胜诉。上诉法院恢复审理

Static Control对利盟的指控。根据“兰

哈姆法”,利盟指控“再生Prebate硒鼓

侵犯利盟的专利权”为虚假广告。利盟

减少第三方再生硒鼓数量的各种做法违

反了反垄断法。上诉法院还拒绝了利盟

企图推翻陪审团关于Static Control胜诉

的裁决的行为,并维持了原审法院的判

决:利盟的两项设计专利无效。

“当我们在2002年被起诉时,我说

我们处于这场战争中的第一个战役。”

Static Control 创始人/首席执行官埃

德·斯沃茨说:“我们已经赢得了每一

个战役。因此我们将最终赢得这场战

争。陪审团做出了有利于我们的裁决,

因为利盟对我们的指控是错误的。上诉

法院做出了有利于我们的判决,因为他

们同意陪审团的裁决。“

在这10年的战役中,这是第六巡

回上诉法院第二次做出有利于Sta t ic

Control的裁定。 2004年,Static Control

就 “其芯片违反了‘数字千年版权法

(俗称DMCA)’的法庭判决”,提出

上诉。原审法院做出了Static Control 违

反DMCA的判决——销售可与利盟打印

机交换信息的芯片。不过后来第六巡

回法院推翻了原审法院的判决,认为

外来芯片与打印机交换信息并不违反

DMCA。

目前本案进入了Static Control指控

利盟的法庭审判阶段。“为了申明利盟

的做法为什么是不公平且非法的,我们

期待已久。” 斯沃茨说:“现在轮到我

们出击了。我们有信心,陪审团会支持

我们并同意我们得到应有的赔偿。“

府、军队及其他涉密单位的信息安全上

保险。”在保障用户的安全打印方面,

近年来,打印信息安全备受关注。

据相关媒体报道,国内发生的若干起信

息泄露事件,经查明泄密途径大多与成

像卡盒有关,据了解,成像卡盒泄密的

重要方式是在成像卡盒内置入泄密芯片,

湖南等若干省市的国家保密机关已多次

发布成像卡盒存在泄密隐患的警示。一

系列的成像卡盒泄密事件,给政府机关、

利盟裁员退出喷墨打印机市场, 喷墨技术是否已成昨日黄花?原文出自【比特网】

近期,办公行业又一条重磅新闻,

美国打印机制造商利盟宣布全球裁员

1700 人,并停止研发制造喷墨打印机,

将于 2015 年之前关闭其在菲律宾的喷墨

打印机制造工厂。在全球经济下滑的情

况下,利盟主动关闭喷墨产品线,转向

利润更高的产品线,则是明智的选择。

而喷墨技术随着产品价格的不断下跌和

耗材的恶性竞争,也逐渐丧失竞争力。

与激光打印机相比,喷墨打印机的

采购成本较低,一般的产品价格也就在

数百元,激光后期使用中的耗材成本较

高。通过耗材来获取利润,也是喷墨打

印机厂商的主要市场策略。

但喷墨技术也有着不少的优点。喷

墨打印机的结构简单,体积小巧,重量轻,

不仅可以随意摆放不会占据太多空间,

就算移动也是非常容易;其次,喷墨打

印机的打印质量较高,尤其是打印高质

量的照片、图片,大幅面产品中打印精

细度较高的图像,喷墨技术还是占据着

较高的优势。

对于目前市场上应用打印机最多的

企业、政府等机构,对于打印机的需求

大多都是普通的文档,更需要成本更低

的打印产品,这对于喷墨打印机来说,

就是一大劣势。一个普通的喷墨打印机,

几百元的价格就可以买到。但一个墨盒

的价格高达数百元,有些喷墨打印机的

墨盒价格高于机身的价格。厂商的盈利

点也全部押在了耗材上面。

价格,如果想要打印彩色内容,需要配

齐黄色、红色、青色,以及黑色四个墨盒,

这款产品墨盒的售价加在一起也就是 480

元,也仅仅比一体机的价格低 119 元。

不仅如此,这款 108XL 大容量黑色墨盒

的打印量最大为 510 页左右,对于打印

量大的企业来说,经常更换墨盒,真是

一件既费事又费钱的工作。

但一直以来,原装耗材与兼容耗材

水火不容,打印机厂商也想尽办法,避

免用户选择兼容耗材。比如在宣传上,

厂商会一直强调,兼容耗材在打印质量

上与原装耗材有着很大差距,更为重要

的是兼容耗材不环保,打印时挥发的物

质还会对身体有害。无论怎样宣传,在

价格方面的巨大差距,还是让国内的消

费者对兼容耗材难以舍弃。

此外,爱普生推出大墨仓,也给了

其他喷墨厂商当头一棒。本来喷墨打印

机的价格已经探底,难有利润,希望凭

借着耗材来赚钱,但当有厂商也推出成

本低廉的大容量墨盒,这让其他的喷墨

打印机制造商更加绝望。喷墨打印机无

法赚钱,也成为很多业内人士的共识。

据媒体报道,利盟首席执行官兼董

事长保罗·鲁克(Paul Rooke)表示:

“这个宣布是一个艰难的决定,对于改

善公司盈利状态节省开支是非常必要的。

我们的投资将专注于更加高端的影像及

软件解决方案,同时我们相信影像业务

与新兴软件业务的协作将会继续驱动利

盟的业务增长。”从这位老板的讲话中

我们也可以听出,关闭不赚钱的公司,

转向做利润更高的公司,以驱动整个公

司的业务增长。喷墨打印机处于的尴尬

境地可见一斑。

其实,喷墨市场还有着更多的潜力

可挖,相对于激光打印机,喷墨技术具

有更好的打印效果,适合打印更为精细

打印质量 喷墨不是热升华的对手

在色彩的表现力上,热升华打印机

要比喷墨打印机要好得多,热升华打印

机 300dpi 的精度几乎相当于喷墨打印机

4800dpi 的效果。而且它通过色带上的

每一个半导体元件调节出的不同的温度,

可以组合出色彩的比例和浓淡程度,实

现连续色调的彩照效果。因此就照片打

印质量方面而言,热升华打印机打印出

的图像的色彩逼真度和还原性与喷墨打

印机和彩色激光打印机相比更胜一筹。

镀膜功能是热升华打印机独有的功

能。由于热升华打印机主要是用来打印

照片的,而将照片镀膜之后,其整体的

色彩感觉将会更加的明亮鲜艳,而且还

具有了放水、抗氧化的功能,在保存方

面要比传统的喷墨打印机出来的照片要

至于缺点,打印速度过慢,工作效

率较低是热升华打印机最为明显的缺点。

由于工作原理的关系,热升华打印机是

红、黄、蓝三色打印循环,每一次打印

一种颜色,纸张就要在打印通道中走上

一个来回,也就是说完成一个打印任务,

需要走上三遍纸,如果需要覆膜的话还

需另加一遍。因此热升华打印机的效率

与喷墨机相比要慢很多,特别是对于那

些专业经营者而言更是很头疼的事情。

在商务领域,黑色文字输出是最为

重要的,但是这又恰恰是热升华打印机

的最大弱点,由于它是将四种颜色 ( 青色、

品红色、黄色和黑色 ) 的固体颜料混合在

一起,因此黑色的纯度很低。此外,热

升华打印机比较娇贵,对灰尘特别敏感,

工作时温度特别高,特别是连续打印时。

下了,是智能终端、移动互联网的世界。

现在你很难说纯粹的计算能力,是笔记

本快还是手机更快。他们的区别只在于

尼的新型掌上游戏机 PSVita,有一个功

能叫做 NEAR,可以方便的寻找身边同

样在用玩 PSVita 的玩家 , 可以与其一起

玩。与此类似,移动互联网时代的要做

的就是,发掘身边的人,并让他成为客户。

PSVita 的 NEAR 发现周边玩家功能给移动互联网以启示

这依赖于数据挖掘功能。比如新浪

微博,可以在发送一条微博的同时,加

上定位信息,立刻就会被提示身边有多

少人在玩新浪微博。如果销售的是相对

热门的产品,也很容易在掌上设备找相

同的微博标签,这都是利用移动互联网

应用寻找潜在客户的手段。

现代的办公里面,邮件的沟通、确

认重要文档、决议是必不可少的手段。

但是出门在外,总有不适合接收邮件的

时候。比如去分公司开会,手头没带着

笔记本,这时候只要身边有一台支持云

打印的打印机,接收者几乎立刻就能得

到需要的文档,会议可以立刻召开,极

大的提升效率。

现在手机的摄像头动辄就是千万像

素,可以拍摄非常不错的照片。但是太

的空间有限,服务器的硬盘等硬件如果

扩容成本高昂。而云存储,则能解决这

些问题。因为服务器的存储系统,都是

通过 Raid5 等阵列来保障数据的安全,

但是却不是通过帮助企业提供服务器托

管来提供服务,云存储销售的是以 GB

容量为单位的存储空间,用多少买多

少,并且价格并不贵,以美国亚马逊为

例,它正在推广用户使用云存储服务,

免费的容量有 5GB,而收费的容量,从

20GB 每年 20 美元到 1TB 每年 1000 美

元不等,亚马逊保障数据连接通过加密

的 https 连接,并且具有和亚马逊网站一

样的高度可用性。

云计算 企业软件的未来

很多人都把云计算理解成了需要

考验计算机能力的计算,比如通过大

型软件分析地球物理勘探的结果,进而

得到地层里是否有石油的结论。这是高

性能计算,和云计算并不相同。云计算

并不是简单的把一些计算要求给远程的

服务器,而是由这些远程的服务器提供

平台或是服务。平台及服务(Platform

as a Service)是云计算的基础,也就

是通过多个服务器提供一个开发环境,

用来在这个平台上实现软件的功能,最

终的目的是软件即服务 (Software as a

service),用服务器平台来给用户提供软

件功能。

企业管理 云应用悄悄崛起

企业管理软件从软件的规模来说本

身就是大型软件,具有软件系统复杂,

功能多、用户多的特点。而 SaaS 则是其

最好的舞台。可以把整个软件的执行端,

都放在服务器,而用户,则根据职位的

不同,比如财务人员看到的是财务功能

的模块,生产制造的看到的是物料管理

等模块,老板则能看到销量、财务报表

往来账面等功能,销售人员则能看到客

户信息,并且能在制造系统下单。而这

些在服务器端的应用,并不需要本地计

算机有多么强大的处理能力,惠普商用

阶段。其实完全可以一边拍,一边通过

专门的 APP,比如 AirPrint,就把拍摄到

的照片传输到最近的云打印打印机里,

用户可以做到进公园拍照,出公园的时

候拿相片,效率要远远高于经常在旅游

景点看到的“数码快像立等可取”,并

且照片质量也有保障。

回到移动互联网。今天我们有了足

够好的智能移动终端,有了足够好的云

打印设备,缺乏的,是发现身边人的数

据挖掘能力。今天的移动终端上的应用,

还是以个人用户的应用为主,不乏功能

性和娱乐性,但是对于企业用户来说,

还做的不够好。

好的应用,应该能够让有购买需求

的人,迅速发现身边或是附件有供货能

力的人,同时,要对这些信息加以甄别,

浅论再生耗材的专利战争By 范晋涛

2012 年, 欧 债 危 机 不 断 恶 化, 智

能移动终端设备也对成像行业造成了负

面 影 响, 我 们 的 寒 冬 到 来 了 吗?。 利

盟,惠普,施乐等厂商的硬件和耗材业

务都遭遇双重下滑;东亚厂商 Canon 和

Epson 等继 2011 年大地震和泰国洪灾的

影响尚未消退,加之日元升值的影响,

导致拥有行业五分之一的主力厂商业绩

大幅度下滑。

打印机厂商业绩的不如意使其想尽

一切办法来盈利,作为主要利润来源的

耗材自然成为其主要的关注点。但传统

的兼容耗材与原装耗材已形成较为稳定

的市场格局,客户也有了相对的忠诚度,

较难去争夺。但作为 Aftermarket 近年来

兴起并不断壮大的再生耗材,使原装厂

商备受威胁,加速跑马圈地确保自己的

利益。

众所周知,原装厂商通过疯狂的专

利壁垒对再生行业围追堵截,并通过专

利诉讼打压 Aftermarket 厂商。相比较而

言,由于对再制造和再生的定义并不是

非常明确,再生市场的专利纠纷较兼容

市场更少。随着政府和消费者环保意识

不断增强,再生耗材得到了越来越多客

户的认可和接受。原装厂商更多地通过

鼓动消费者将用过的耗材送还给原装厂

商,随后不加选择地进行彻底粉碎,以

确保其空壳被回收或再利用而利润流失,

但其中很多部件是可以被多次使用的。

耗材回收商采取支付一定的费用并

进行有效的利用空壳,因此,仍有空盒

源源流入流入 Aftermarket。盛怒之下的

Canon 率先发难,控告再制造商 Clover

等 28 家企业侵权,Clover 试图通过再制

造的名义出售产品并避免专利诉讼,但

由于核心部件感光鼓是其全新制作的,

佳能控告 Clover 的感光鼓侵犯专利并延

伸至整个再生硒鼓。目前,大部分再生

厂商被迫与 Canon 达成和解,尽管他们

为消费者带来了众多性价比更好的选择,

为创造“资源节约、环境友好”的地球

家园做出了不懈努力。

此外,利盟在 2012 年 6 月向一些美

国再制造商发出信件,声明由于其空盒

来源于美国以外,违反了美国基于专利

穷竭的回收制度,即只有在本国首次售

出的产品才允许在回收利用,因此它们

要么接受无商量余地的罚款,要么面临

诉讼。尽管供应商 Greentec 强调利盟这

样做只是虚张声势,但仍有不少的再制

造商为了避免诉讼而选择向利盟妥协。

此外,HP,Canon,Brother 等厂商也纷

纷申请再生耗材的相关专利,希望通过

专利来避免其原装耗材被再制造。原装

厂商的种种举动都暗示着未来再生耗材

行业将面临着巨大的挑战。

Canon 和 Lexmark 的案件给行业敲

响了警钟,回收耗材不存在专利问题也

成为了无稽之谈。那么,面临着再生耗

材可能存在的专利问题,再生厂商该何

近年来,喷墨打印机发展非常迅速,

已成为家用打印机市场的主流,其核心

部件——墨盒在使用的过程中经常会出

现这样或那样的问题,主要是打印喷头

被墨渍堵塞,给用户带来了困扰和不便。

正确选用墨盒

选择墨盒的时候一定要选品牌墨

盒,原装墨盒固然很好,但是其价格一

般比较昂贵,国产品牌通用墨盒的质量

和技术都有很大的提高,与原装墨盒几

无差别,而售价仅是原装墨盒的 60%-

70%。

墨盒的保养问题主要集中在墨水和

喷嘴。喷墨打印机的墨水用量相对来说

是比较大的,在使用较长时间以后,墨

水对喷嘴和打印出来的图像都有所影响。

喷嘴的长时间工作所出现的磨损与墨渍

堆积也影响了打印图像的质量。所以,

墨水的正确选择和使用以及喷嘴的正确

保养,是延长喷墨打印机和墨盒使用寿

命的关键。

在使用的过程中,一般要在装上新

墨盒后,先清洗打印头,这样可以把残

留在喷嘴内的原墨水洗净,避免新墨水

和原墨水发生化学反应产生墨渍,以致

堵塞喷嘴。如果是惠普和佳能等墨盒自

带喷嘴的打印机就可以省去清洗打印喷

孔这道既繁琐又浪费墨水的手续。

另外,当墨盒停用一段时间后,残

留的墨水将侵蚀打印机的其它相关联的

系统部件,如与服务器的盖橡胶发生化

学反应、腐蚀盖笔胶、氧化组成打印头

的导电片等,使整个打印机丧失其打印

性能,影响打印机的使用寿命。

细心“呵护”

如何正确保养打印头呢?打印头最

容易因打印机的长期使用而变得“疲

劳”,打印时间过长、墨水使用不当、

或长时间搁置不用而堵塞喷孔。当然使

用质量不佳的墨盒,也会引起喷孔堵塞

而影响打印质量,严重时甚至导致整个

打印头报废。虽然打印头的制造工艺比

较精细,但其结构并不复杂。与打印介

质直接接触的平面上布满了许多微小圆

孔,喷孔与插入墨盒的喷嘴相连,从喷

嘴到喷孔之间以及喷孔四周,常常滞留

着附着力极强的墨水杂质和墨渍,只要

清除了这些杂质和墨渍,打印头便可以

恢复正常的打印功能。

大部分看似已经报废的打印头,仅

仅是喷孔被堵塞而不能工作,只要简单

冲洗就可以恢复其打印功能。对于打印

正常,但缺少笔画或色彩,或高分辨率

下图像模糊这种轻微堵塞情况,一般采

用打印机自带的喷孔清洗程序就可以解

决。对于打印过程中极其频繁充墨或清

洗墨孔,但打印效果仍然较差或打印喷

头严重堵塞,机器无法充墨,或打印机“拒

绝工作”,这时就只能用手工清洗方法

了。手工清洗方法虽不很复杂,但需要

拆卸打印喷头,清洗次数不能过于频繁。

手工清洗方法是使用注射器将清洗液注

入喷孔,必要时可以用硬塑料小刀刮去

喷孔边的残留物,在处理过程中注意不

要将电极污染了。

安个好“家”

良好的使用环境不但能使打印机“平

平安安”,而且能让墨盒正常发挥效用。

对于喷嘴设计在墨盒内的彩色喷墨打印

机,如惠普和佳能打印机和墨盒都应置

于干燥、洁净的环境中,避免较多的灰

尘堵塞墨盒细小的喷嘴。如果打印机的

工作环境太潮湿,不仅喷墨打印机的部

分构件可能受到腐蚀,就连墨盒的打印

喷嘴也难以保证不会受到腐蚀。而且工

作环境的变化不能太快,否则零部件的

热膨胀会造成机械部件的过多磨损,尤

其是墨盒的塑料构件和喷嘴孔径的变化

会影响打印的效果。

助你提升喷墨打印机性能

The Way to Enhance Inkjet Printer Performance

由于喷墨打印机自身结构以及打印

耗材技术方面的问题,在使用中会出现

各种各样的问题,除了打印速度、打印

质量外,还普遍存在卡纸、打印头故障

等小毛病。向大家介绍如何全面提升喷

打性能,以更好地工作。

一 、如何提升喷打打印速度

打印时的分辨率、色彩以及目标文

件这三点是影响速度的根本。

首先,分辨率的调节,这里有个误

区就是分辨率越高图片越好,其实不然,

并不是过大的分辨率就一定能够出合适

的图片,当使用的分辨率高出光学分辨

率的时候,在提升分辨率只能徒增文件

大小,对画质影响并不很大,一般的 A4

纸张黑白文档 200dpi 就能够满足了。

其次,使用固定模式,如果使用预

设好的草稿模式,不仅节省时间,还能

够省下一部分墨水。再加上现在很多新

机器中加入了经济模式,这种模式将省

墨和草稿打印高度结合,非常节约,很

适合我们日常普通文件打印使用。

二、 提高打印质量

打印文稿的纸张是决定出稿质量的

重要因素,向大家推荐使用有特殊打印

图层的纸张,或者装入标有标准 25% 结

合棉纸张,这种纸打印起来不易造成墨

水扩散,洇透纸张,而选择厚纸或者纸

张上纹路叫明显的打印纸,会很容易扩

散墨水,造成打印文字或图片模糊。纸

张规格上,不要选择较窄的纸,这样的

规格很有可能在打印过程中滑入纸张处

理装置中。当然,现在市面上有更高级

的 PVC 打印纸、亚光打印纸以及相片打

印纸,但是考虑到后期耗材成本问题,

在这里就不为大家过多介绍了。

其次是要调节合适的分辨率,一般

来说彩色文稿在 300dpi 就能够满足需

求,但是要注意的是,在打印彩色文稿

的时候,最好选择灰度或者彩色模式,

这样能够更好的针对目标文件类型进行

出稿打印。我们在打印前还可以调校显

示器色彩度,经过预览窗口反复比对实

物图,调节 RGB 三色滑块,这样打印出

来的效果将更加让人满意。

三、 解决卡纸现象

喷墨打印机最普遍的故障:打印卡

纸。卡纸的放生是由于在我们使用打印

机的时候操作不当,或者是纸张过薄过

软,纸张潮湿,在送入打印机打印时在

经过高温工作下,纸张发生扭曲,引起

纸张卷入打印机卡住的现象,如果处理

不好极有可能影响到打印机头和传送装

置的损坏。

避免卡纸的方法也有很多:

首先,就是选择标准规格的纸张,

这里就不多赘述了。

其次,正确放纸是关键。把纸张放

入纸盒也是有讲究的,我们把一沓打印

纸去掉包装后,首先要用手把他们均匀

打散,然后抖掉夹杂在纸张中的纸张碎

屑,这些碎屑对于打印头的损坏很大,

还有可能造成打印头堵塞等现象。接下

来,把打印纸码齐,一次向纸盒中放入

约 50 张纸(视纸盒标准的三分之二确

定),将纸张靠近纸盒右侧送入,当感

到有阻力的时候,把纸张微微打出 1 厘

米左右的距离,最后,推动纸张宽度导板,

贴近纸张边缘即可。

处理卡纸问题时候的基本方法:

第一步:当打印机卡纸时,机器会

停止工作并且警告指示灯亮起,这时候,

应该拔掉电源,使其处于不工作状态。

第二步,打开打印机后盖,在后盖

处轻轻履平打印纸,慢慢抽出。记得一

定要从后盖处抽出,如果从前面向外拉

纸,会造成传送逆转,很容易造成硬件

断裂损坏。

我们在使用时最好注意清洁搓纸轮,

如果搓纸轮沾染灰尘杂物也会引起卡纸。

四、解决墨水问题

当墨水用完的时候打印机会自动提

示换墨,这时候,不要急于换墨,即使

是在提醒的情况下,在继续打印 10 张左

右的文稿还是没有问题的,尤其对于一

体墨盒的机器来说,某一颜色(通常是

黑色)墨水用尽后,其他颜色墨盒依然

有墨,所以还可继续使用。

关于打印机耗材问题,市面上最常

用的就是代用墨水,这种墨水价格便宜,

打印质量也不错,与很多机器都是兼容

的,像爱普生,佳能的部分机器是墨盒

和打印头分体的,这样的机器不建议使

用代用墨水,其一是兼容性极差,其二

是一旦打印头损坏,得不偿失。

五、解决打印头问题

冲洗墨水,例如爱普生这类墨盒和

打印头分离式的打印机,有着 0 秒预热

的强大功能,打印头十分精密,而快干

式墨水虽然能更好的保证文稿质量,却

很容易造成打印头堵塞。通常机器自带

清洗打印头功能,既用墨水冲刷喷嘴,

但是墨水成本很高,冲洗起来相当浪费。

对于这种情况,我们可以自制一个

清洗墨盒,找到一个墨水用完的墨盒,

取出墨盒里的吸墨泡沫,然后在找到一

个相近大小的泡沫,如果没有的话就把

原来的清洗干净,把泡沫和墨盒都放入

清水了浸泡,让泡沫吸足纯净水,装入

空墨盒,一个清洗墨盒就做好啦。

在使用时将其装入打印机,再使用

打印机的清洗功能,或者用这个墨盒打

印一篇文稿,这样就可以让纯净水来冲

洗喷墨头了。

通过改善这五个地方,打印机在日

常应用的时候就会很少出现毛病故障,

使用起来就更加顺手了。

年上半年下降了 2.8%。在整体经济环境略显疲态的背景下,

喷墨耗材市场轻度下滑,但是其中的一个细分市场却实现了

正增长,即连续供墨市场。该市场的销售额同比增长 26.5%,

主要原因在于连续供墨产品以极其低廉的打印成本和日臻成

熟的应用技术,获得了中小企业及打印输出行业的青睐。IDC

预计 2012 全年的连续供墨产品销售额将达 2.8 亿元。

在国内喷墨耗材市场,相对于原装耗材,通用耗材低廉

的价格和日渐成熟的售后服务,满足了消费者在保持打印品

质的同时降低打印成本的需求。而当原装耗材厂商降低单品

价格后,通用耗材厂商也面临较大的竞争压力。为了应对不

断增加的生产成本和日益下降的单品零售价格,连续供墨产

品成为喷墨耗材市场里崛起的新星,目前除了另色鬼、英之

杰等专业的连续供墨耗材厂商,如天威、格之格这些通用耗

材的“巨无霸”也积极推广连供产品,更有新意的如 EPSON

这样的以单品墨盒创利的原装耗材厂商,也在 2011 年推出了

L 系列连供产品,并获得良好的市场效果,使喷墨耗材市场

的竞争增加了更多的变数,也激发了喷墨耗材市场的潜力。

IDC 中国计算机系统研究部高级分析师霍原光说:“纵

观目前的中国打印耗材市场,从耗材产品结构来讲,原装耗

材已经放下其一贯标榜的‘高品质 + 高价格’的姿态,转而

谋求更贴近中小企业用户的打印解决方案。连续供墨产品以

其超低廉的后期打印成本,已经促使原装耗材厂商转变了态

度。2012 年以及未来的 3-5 年间,中国打印喷墨耗材市场将

从墨盒和加注墨水这两种传统的应用,逐渐过渡到多级化发

展,即在连续供墨产品品质不断提升和逐渐普及化应用的推

根据 3D 打印的原理,只要使用与模型相同的材质,就

能打印出和模型几乎一模一样的东西。然而对于 3D 打印机来

说,耗材才是王道。比如面包,你使用面粉做材料,打印的

最贵的一公斤则要 4 万元左右。

据德意志银行分析师克里斯·怀特摩尔 (Chris Whitmore)

的研究显示,在过去 10 个季度,打印机企业设备销量同比下

降 6%,包括佳能、爱普生、Lexmark、施乐、惠普。

去年,传统打印设备的销售同样下滑,这对于打印用品业

务来说来是一个糟糕的信号。还有一个信号,二季度打印纸的

销售比 2006 年历史最高点下降了 20%。

克里斯·怀特摩尔认为:由于 iPad 以及相似的东西流行,

未来打印纸张数会呈现永久性下滑趋势,可能只会加速。过去

通过打印销售的内容,现在可能会通过电子形式分销。

在报告中涉及的企业都公布了财报,除了惠普,惠普会在

8 月 22 日公布财报。到 4 月 30 日止的 6 个月,惠普的成像

和打印集团营收同比降 9%,降幅超过 10 亿美元,达 124 亿

美元。用品销售同比下降 6%,要知道,这部分业务曾经每年

营收 170 亿美元,占了打印业务 257 亿美元的近三分之二。

惠普CEO惠特曼曾将公司的打印机业务与PC业务整合,

由托德·布拉德利 (Todd Bradley) 领导。她认为将打印机和

PC 一起销售,可以有机会节省成本,因为二者存在重叠。

不过对于打印业务来说,可能有一个根本的变化,惠普考

虑砍掉一些亏钱的打印机型号,这些产品是低端品。

没有人认为惠普新一季度财报会好看。实际上,分析师认

为惠普二季度的营收同比下降 3%。

未来也并不光明,因为办公场所的打印使用量开始下滑。

一些企业开始转型到宽泛的文档、工作流管理服务,比如施乐

和 Lexmark。不过,这些业务可能会受制于企业预算紧缩。

鼎龙股份彩色聚合墨粉项目近日正式投产,这是鼎龙股

份自主研发的国内唯一、全球一流的全自动彩粉生产线,在

全球独家实现了同一生产平台上兼容多种主流彩色聚合墨粉

制备的能力。

据了解,彩色聚合墨粉是彩色激光打印及数码复印专用

关键耗材,过去全球仅有佳能、柯尼卡 - 美能达、理光、三

菱化学、施乐等少数日美企业能够生产,我国则基本依赖进口。

鼎龙股份从研发到工业化,历时 6 年,投资建成了彩色聚合

墨粉项目,该项目占地近 7000m3,设计年产量 1500 吨,并

存在一定的产能提升空间,其制备技术及产能规模均已达国

际领先水平。

鼎龙股份的彩粉项目拥有 20 多项国内外发明专利,获得

了 2011 年度国家信息产业重大技术发明及湖北省技术发明一

等奖、中国行业标准第一起草人、国家 863 计划重点项目承

担者等多项荣誉及资质。该项目的投产,实现了彩色墨粉国

内自主知识产权“零”的突破,有望成为公司未来新的利润

增长点。

时,打印机还有擦拭功能,

只要将布满铅笔字迹的 A4 纸插入打印机的另一段,纸上所有

的铅笔字迹就会被完全清除。这样,A4 纸就可以反复使用了,

还能充分利用铅笔头,经济又环保。

铅笔打印机是利用废弃的铅笔头来作为打印材料,巧妙的

将废物利用,不仅可以达到环保的功效,而传统打印机耗材成

本昂贵的问题也迎刃而解,铅笔和纸张的来源都是木材,都是

树木。达到节约能源,环保的效果。

中日韩三国环境标志机构代表 4 日签署了《中日韩环境

标志一体机共同认证规则协议》《中日韩环境标志互认认证

程序协议》和《中日韩互认实施规则协议》等三项环境标志

合作与互认协议。在签约仪式上,震旦获得环境保护部环境

发展中心颁发的环境标志贡献奖。三项协议明确了三国环境

标志一体机产品互认的认证规则、认证程序和实施规则,为

一体机产品在三国获得环境标志认证提供了指南和便捷途径。

环保部相关负责人表示,三项协议的签署,将有力地促

进一体机产品在三国的流通,为今后中日韩三国进行其他产

品的环境标志互认提供了良好范例,同时也将加强中日韩三

国双边及多边贸易,推动东北亚区域经济的一体化,为突破

国际贸易壁垒提供了良好途径和成功范例。签约仪式结束后,

举行了“中国环境标志贡献奖”颁奖仪式,向震旦、佳能、惠普、

柯尼卡美能达、兄弟、三星等 15 家企业颁发“中国环境标志

贡献奖”,以表彰其积极参与中国环境标志计划、为推动环

境友好产品的生产和消费所作的贡献。
