ABSTRACT
This paper presents the current needs to ensure high productivity and quality of goods and servicesassociated with the increasing value of intellectual capital and the volume of existing, dispersed information in organizations require increasingly effective practices, especially in the area of industrial maintenance. The proposed model for the development is made with a conceptual graph. Based onthe analysis of failure mechanisms, and is characterized by a hybrid model of knowledgerepresentation, combining techniques inferences from rules-based reasoning !B!" of case-based reasoning #B!". Besides the presentations of each ma$or stage of development points, the articlediscusses how heuristic knowledge used in the causal analysis of industrial physical systems, can beshared in a manufacturing environment and establishes an approach for using the system as a tool for both sectors , educational and industrial.
