3. RHI RAW MATERIAL INVESTIGATION SCOPE OF SERVICES INCLUDES:

3.1 Phase I: The Preliminary Raw Material Investigation Scope Including:

• Providing of all the drilling equipment, tools, materials, core boxes, personnel, and supervisory staff needed for drilling execution.

• Directing the investigation, and ensuring maximum core recovery, correct sampling and required drilling depth.

• Performing lithologic description of the cores and preparation of well logs. • Dropping and platting of the drill holes location by ground surveying.  • Performing sampling, chemical analysis, and physical testing of core

samples. • Supervising the analysis in the laboratories, and recording the result. • Full interpretation of the drilling data, lithological logs, chemical analysis

results, physical testing results, and site geologic information. • Preparation of the report for the preliminary row material investigation, including all data, records, measurements,

well logs, analysis and tests results, full interpretation of data, and assessment of investigated deposits in terms of quality, suitability and potential sufficiency.

3.2 Phase II: The Overall Geological Investigation Scope Including:

• Surveying of the deposit area and the plant site by ground surveying, and the production of contour maps to the scale 1: 1000 or 1:2000, and contour interval 0.5 – 1.0m.

• Establishing the core drilling program for each raw material deposit and preparation of the drilling specifications for each deposit.

• Preparation of the technical specifications for the core treatment and sample preparation. 

• Preparation of the technical specifications for physical testing and chemical analyses.

• Core treatment, sample preparation, physical testing, and chemical analysis in the laboratories.

• Reviewing and analyzing of all the field data, measurements, chemical analysis results and physical testing data

• Establishing of the electronic data base for the project raw material information.

• Calculation of the weighted averages composition of the members and of the deposits.

• Chemical correlation of strata or members in each deposit. • Establishing the block modeling for each deposit. • Estimation of the grade reserves for each deposit. • Preparation of best raw mix designs for the production of OPC and SRC with minimum possible components. • Preparation of the overall raw material investigation report with main guidelines and recommendations for opening

the quarry in each deposit. • Preparation of the technological samples to be handed over to the bidders or to the successful supplier.

3.3 Phase III: The Detailed Investigations and Mining Plan Scope Including:

• Preparation of the plan for core drilling, sampling, analyses, and tests. • Supervision of drilling and sampling. • Supervision of sample preparation, chemical analysis, and physical

testing. • Interpretation of the survey data, chemical analysis, and physical

testing results.  • Preparation of the detailed mining plan.

3.4 Phase IV: Quarry Opening Scope Including:

• Preparation of production access roads to crusher and with-in quarry service roads.

• Stripping and disposal of over burden. • Disposal of waste and gang rocks. • Construction of quarry floor platform. • Benches opening to required heights. • Face splitting as required by mining plan design. • Preparation of selection yard. • Transporting usable material to selection yard. • Quantity surveying and billing control. • As built quarry map.

3.5 Phase V: Long Term Quarry Operation Scope Including:

• Designing the blasting rounds, performing bench drilling, also charging the blast holes with explosives, initiating detonation, and inspecting the muck piles.

• Assigning certified blasting engineers to carry out the bench blasting and secondary blasting in the quarry.

• Performing regular maintenance of the quarry access roads, working benches, working faces.

• Constructing and maintaining fuel, lubricants, and vehicle service facilities on site.

• Providing all, equipment, vehicles, installations and facilities necessary to maintain daily delivery needs of the crusher.

• Ensuring the operations of the quarries are carried out with due regards to safety, ecological and environmental factors.

• Following and adhering to the mining plan provided to ensure material quality and optimum utilization of the deposit.

4. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF PLANTS SERVICES

INCLUDING: • Carrying out of plant detailed technical audit.  • Comprehensive plant operations, targeting increasing production, reducing

operating cost, enhancing product quality, and improving machinery availability

• Carrying out the complete technical management and operation functions of

the plant.

• Maximize the production capacity of the Plant with regard to well established management and operating practices.

• Developing and implementing necessary control systems and techniques to

ensure that the plant is able to operate efficiently and profitably on continuous basis. 

• Transferring to the client the know-how and expertise developed by RHI in

connection to the production technology of the plant.

• Maintaining the plant, at all times, in good operating conditions adhering to the operation and maintenance requirements.

• Establishing and implementing an efficient system of preventive, predictive

and routine maintenance for the Plant including repair, overhauls and periodic shut-downs, based on equipment records and operating histories and optimization of spare parts stock utilization.

• Implementing and maintaining production and maintenance monthly and

yearly programs, also warehouse procedures and stock control methods.

• Developing and implementing appropriate production control procedures including utilization of accurate measurement procedures and devices, maintenance of log sheets, and recording of raw materials and consumables consumption, maintaining high production efficiency, minimizing losses and identifying any possible sources of operating inefficiencies to immediate rectification. 

• Instituting a safety and accident prevention system aimed at protecting

personnel and assets.

• Engineering for technical solutions required for both revamping and modification works the plant.

• Carrying out the training of Clients’ personnel on site and off-site through a comprehensive practical operation and maintenance training program for all the levels of the Plant organization.
