Our Brazil Trip

One of my favorite activities was the

potato race. It was very simple, yet I feared

would mess up. These kids were looking at

me like “Do not mess us up, American”. I

then helped my team achieve the title of

2nd place. We were the best (you know,

except for 1st place.)

At first, I wasn’t even sure if we would make

it to Brazil (Thank you United Airlines for a

terrible travelling experience). However, even

after all the trouble, we still made it, and I am

so happy we did. It is a beautiful country and

the locals are very friendly. Our first true

experience in Brazil was at CECOIA. We

interacted with many kids and had fun playing

games with them. Then after hanging out with

these cool kids, we were reintroduced to an

old friend: NAP TIME! It was such a great

experience. After we woke up, we hung out

with some other kids, and saw many cool

performances.
