o mengidentifikasi gambaran umum dari teks yang dibacanya

o mengidentifikasi informasi faktual dari teks yang dibacanya..

o mengidentifasi informasi rinci dari teks yang dibacanya.

o mengidentifikasi makna kata, frase dan kalimat tertentu dari bacaan

o mengidentifikasi definition, social function dan generic structure dari teks narrative

o membaca nyaring dengan intonasi dan pengucapan yang benar.

1. Tujuan pembelajaran

Siswa mampu :

o menemukan judul dari teks yang dibacanyao menemukan informasi faktual dari teks yang dibacanya..o menemukan informasi rinci dari teks yang dibacanya.o menyebutkan makna kata, frase dan kalimat tertentuo menemukan rujukan kata yang benaro menyebutkan definition, social function dan generic structure dari teks o membaca nyaring dengan intonasi dan pengucapan yang benar.o memperoleh perasaan senang

2. Materi Pembelajaran

Pembelajaran Teks NarrativeDefinition:

Narrative text is a kind of text which is used to amuse and to deal with problematic events which lead a crisis and on turn finds a resolution.(Naratif teks adalah salah satu jenis teks yang digunakan untuk menghibur dan berkenaan dengan peristiwa-peristiwa yang meninmbulkan masalah yang menyebabkan sebuah krisis yang pada akhirnya menemukan penyelesaian)

Social Function/Purpose:To entertain the listeners or readers with a true experience or an imaginary one.(Untuk menghibur pendengar atau pembaca dengan sebuah pengalaman nyata atau pengalaman yang bersifat khayalan).

Generic Structure:

- Orientation => it is about the opening paragraph where the characters of the story are introduced.

- Complication => where the problematic events in the story starts and developed.- Resolution => where the problem in the story is solved.

Characteristics:- Containing who are in the story, where and when the story happened;- Use linking words such as when, with, who etc.- Ending of the story conflict.- Containing a moral value.- Begun with certain phrase such as: once upon a time, one day, long time ago, etc

Once upon a time, there was a nervous little chipmunk. She was always afraid that something bad happened to her. Orientation

One day, she heard a little noise. It was really only an apple that fell to the ground. But the little Chipmunk was afraid and said “The sky is falling in.” Then she ran away as fast as she could go. Soon she met an old brother Chipmunk, who asked, “Where are you running to, little Chipmunk?” And the little Chipmunk answered, “The sky is falling in, and I am running away.” “The sky is falling in?” said the old brother Chipmunk. And he told the story to his brother chipmunk, until at last there were a hundred brother Chipmunks shouting, ”The sky is falling in.” Soon the larger animals heard what the Chipmunks were saying. The Deer, the Sheep, the Pig, the Camel, the Tiger, and the Elephant began to say, “The sky is

falling in.” Then the wise Lion heard all the noise and wanted to know what was happening. He stopped all the animals and asked, “What are you saying?” The brother Chipmunks said, “Oh we heard it from that little Chipmunk!” And the Lion said, “Little Chipmunk, what made you say that the sky was falling in?” And the little Chipmunk said, “I saw it there near the tree.”“Well,” said the Lion, “Come with me and I will show you how something”. “Now get on my back.” The Lion took her on his back, and asked the animals to stay where they were until they returned. Then he showed the little Chipmunk that the apple had fallen to the ground. This made the noise that had made her afraid. The little Chipmunk said, “Oh, I see. The sky is not falling in.”The Lion said, “Let’s go back and tell the other animals.”So they went back. At last all the animals knew that the sky was not falling in.

Resolution

Answer the questions below based on the text.

4. Langkah-langkah Kegiatan

oKegiatan Pendahuluan (10’) Calling the roll menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran brainstorming

oKegiatan inti (65’)

1) Guru menjelaskan tentang definisi, fungsi, dan struktur generic dari teks narrative.

2) Guru menyajikan sebuah contoh teks narrative. 3) Guru membaca teks narrative sebagai model 4) Salah seorang siswa membaca teks narrative dengan suara

nyaring 5) Siswa mencari makna kata dan frase dari teks 6) Menjawab pertanyaan berdasarkan teks narrative yang diberikan

7) Guru meminta siswa untuk membentuk kelompok (4 orang per kelompok)

8) Guru memberikan teks narrative lain yang berbeda kepada masing – masing

Kelompok disertai dengan lima buah pertanyaan. 9) Salah seorang siswa dari masing – masing kelompok membaca

nyaring teks yang diberikan oleh guru dengan ucapan dan intonasi yang tepat 10) Siswa menjawab pertanyaan dalam kelompok masing – masing. 11) Masing – masing kelompok menyampaikan jawaban atas

pertanyaan. Seluruh anggota kelompok mendapat giliran untuk menyampaikan jawaban.

oKegiatan Penutup (5’)- menanyakan kesulitan siswa dalam memahami teks- melakukan refleksi- memberi tugas/homework.
