the Seabourn fleet

Seabourn’sfleetofintimate,all-suiteships provides you an enviably elite address in the

world’s most desirable destinations. Their sleek, eye-catching lines attract attention in the best possible

way. But their beauty, though striking, is much more than skin deep. Superbly engineered and masterfully

crafted, they will carry you smoothly and nimbly to the heart of great cities, to exclusive yacht harbors

and secluded coves where larger ships cannot follow.

SeabournOdyssey,SeabournSojournandSeabournQuest

Hailed as “game-changers for the luxury segment”, these stunning sisters represent an evolution of

elegance in luxury, small-ship cruising. Their generous proportions, encompassing no more than 229

spacious, ocean-view and veranda suites, allow an enhanced array of amenities and features, as well

as ratios of space and service staff per guest that are among the industry’s highest.

SeabournEncore

Modeled from our award-winning trio of Odyssey class ships, Seabourn Encore will be configured with

one additional deck and newly expanded public areas. Designed by hospitality design icon Adam D.

Tihany, Seabourn Encore will feature modern design elements and innovations consistent with our

reputation for understated elegance. This beautiful new 40,350 GRT vessel will have 300 suites, each

with its own private veranda.

n 2016, Seabourn will introduce Seabourn

Encore, its fourth new ship in seven years.

The new ship is as strikingly beautiful and

as excitingly innovative as any Seabourn has

ever debuted. It will crown a fleet that is already

the newest, most modern and most acclaimed

in the ultra-luxury segment. Modeled on the

award-winning trio of small ships introduced with

Seabourn Odyssey in 2009, the stunning new

vessel offers one additional deck. Seabourn Encore

represents yet another welcome stage in the

evolution of small-ship cruising, which Seabourn

pioneered and which it has consistently expanded

and enriched. An additional sister-ship, Seabourn

Ovation, is scheduled for 2018. Both sisters will

benefit from Seabourn’s peerless legacy of luxury

and, like their predecessors, deliver a wealth of new

concepts, a fresh vision and a host of illuminating

ideas to delight the world’s most discerning travelers.

In 1988, the revolutionary Seabourn Pride introduced

modern ultra-luxury small ship cruising, offering

guests a casual, relaxed elegance previously

“ The new ship is as strikingly beautiful and as excitingly innovative as any Seabourn has ever debuted.”

available only to owners of the most fabulous

private yachts. The ship was intimate and nimble

enough to visit both great cities and smaller,

picturesque harbors. Guests enjoyed spacious

ocean-view suites, and the variety of public spaces

encouraged relaxed socializing. At the stern, a novel

platform unfolded to become a watersports Marina,

like a private beach resort. Seabourn added sister-ships

Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend to its fleet, as

well as new signature experiences including a lavish

Caviar in the Surf® beach party; a Shopping with

the Chef excursion to a local market and an exclusive

Evening in Ephesus concert.

In 2009, Seabourn further expanded the luxury of

appealing choices for their guests by introducing

the stunning Seabourn Odyssey, hailed as “…a

game-changer for the ultra-luxury segment.”

Though much larger, the sleek new hull carried

only about twice the number of guests, allowing a

greater variety of all-suite accommodations, most

with private verandas, generous expanses of open

teak deck and multiple indoor and outdoor

dining venues. Many favorite Seabourn features

remained in Seabourn Odyssey’s design.

The new design also held delightful surprises.

Seabourn Square combined a library and sitting

room, a computer center, a discreet Guest Services

enclave, and a European Konditorei-style coffee

bar with an espresso machine and snacks. An

intimate Restaurant 2 alternative dinner venue,

and Seabourn Odyssey’s Spa at Seabourn was the

largest on any luxury cruise ship, with an innovative

Motion Studio and full-service salon. Two identical

sister-ships, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest,

were introduced in 2010 and 2011. This trio of

beautiful, ultra-luxury vessels quickly won the

hearts of Seabourn’s loyal audience and the rest

of the travel industry. They have repeatedly been

named the best small ships in the world, and enjoy

a loyal following of avid travelers who prefer them

above all others.

The arrival of Seabourn Encore and

Seabourn Ovation will prepare

Seabourn to lead the way into a

new era with the most modern

ultra-luxury fleet in the industry

— a fleet that will continue to

delight travelers with fascinating,

innovative itineraries and a gracious,

intuitive hospitality that enhances its status as

the world’s finest small-ship cruise line.

o further advance its mission with Seabourn

Encore, Seabourn commissioned preeminent

designer Adam Tihany, who specializes

in developing elegantly individual spaces

for the most highly rated hotels, restaurants,

resorts and spas in the hospitality industry. He is

also renowned for his unique ability to realize

and embody the particular personalities of his

clients and the preferences of their clientele in

his designs.

For Seabourn Encore, Tihany was especially

sensitive to the fact that Seabourn’s guests

occupy the ship for at least a week while cruising

the world’s most desirable destinations. Many

sail for even more extended periods. As guests

explore the ports of call, they dine, play and

socialize on board. He noted that, as travelers,

they are essentially involved in exploration,

discovering new sights and experiences.

“I realized how much of Seabourn’s overall product

is dedicated to satisfying their guests’ appetites

for surprise,” he said. “From the planning of

itineraries, to the cuisine, to their style of service,

they are always focused on surpassing expectations

and eliciting the sort of delight that results from

the unexpected. With that in mind, I have designed

a ship that conveys a sense of spontaneity and

exhilaration, eliciting the sensation of discovery

and novelty that will complement the rest of the

guests’ travel experiences.”

Although the architecture of Seabourn Encore is

not radically different from Seabourn’s other three

ships, Tihany’s vision of the interiors is present

throughout the ship. There is a new softness and a

curvaceous elegance to his designs that reflect a

noticeably bespoke aesthetic. The vessel feels

more luxurious, more like a private residential

yacht. Nautical visual elements are employed with

an exceptional intelligence and sophistication.

And, true to his vision, Tihany has enriched the

entire ship with an impressive array of unexpected

surprises and subtle transformations for guests

to continually discover and enjoy.

soups, sides and freshly grilled specialties in an

impromptu, al fresco setting.

tempting selections anytime. During extended

dinner service hours, you can enjoy a complete

providing the finest travel experiences available in the world.

EXPERIENCE THE WORLD

“ The single most valuable investment you make in your travels is your time. It is literally priceless.”

ncircling the globe and tracing the coasts of all seven continents,

Seabourn’s sleek, modern fleet provides year-round opportunities to

experience those places you have always longed to see, as well as to

discover places you never dreamed existed.

In crafting its voyages, Seabourn aims to link high-profile, eagerly anticipated ports

with intriguing surprises, which may not be familiar, but often prove the most

memorable of all. Their intimate, nimble ships carry guests comfortably to lesser-known

ports larger ships must bypass — unspoiled places that are often local favorites or the

closely-held secrets of international yachtsmen. A city’s harbor is often the historical heart

of the place. Arriving from the sea in the traditional way, you can simply step ashore into

that ineffable sense of place that is a quality of experience every traveler seeks.

During a Seabourn voyage, the luxury of choice does not end at the gangway. Seabourn

understands that many of its guests wish to experience ports of call on their own terms.

MediterraneanArtists trekked down from the crowded cities of the north, drawn to the vivid glare of sunlight.

The sea welcomed them to harbors glittering in hues they had never imagined. Shadows pulsed with

luscious tones of purple against sun-blasted stones. Travelers today are treated to the same intoxicating

visual intensity along the Cote d’Azur and the villages of the Costa Amalfiana. The flower stalls along

Barcelona’s ramblas still overflow with extravagant floods of color. Come capture images that will glow in

your memory and warm you forever from within.

Dappled is a word you may never have used, even if you have a sense of what it means. But the moment

you see a scatter of glowing, soft-edged spots of light dancing on a shady, whitewashed wall in Greece, you will

never forget it. When you book a journey, you expect to learn things —history, art and architecture, and cultural

insights. However, it may not occur to you that it might expand your vocabulary in the wordless language of light.

Sailing among the sites in the Eastern Mediterranean, you will acquire fascinating facts. But in the end, the scent

of wild oregano, or the surprising tang of pine-sap in a sip of chilled retsina may be the sensory souvenirs you

recall most vividly, long after you return.

Summer stretches out the days in Europe’s north. From every rosy dawn, daylight extends in a

solar celebration, long into a lingering twilight that, in certain latitudes, never quite fades to darkness.

Markets fill with baskets of berries, sleek silver salmon and heaps of pearl-pink shrimp fresh from clear,

chill seas. In Helsinki, artisans display woods polished to a silken gloss through winter months, and

gossamer woolens dyed in vivid wildflower hues. The pastel tints of St. Petersburg’s rococo palaces shift

throughout the day, their gilded domes reflecting sunbeams dancing off the Neva. Slow shadows slip across

the dramatic walls of Norway’s fjords; a sundial scaled for the ancient Norse gods.

A web of caravan trails and sea-routes between the empires of antiquity served a trade in gold, pearls,

spices and silks. Scattered along its path were centers of learning as famous, in their heydays, as any that ever

existed. Medieval Arabian scholars, instructed by their faith, gathered and refined the texts of Egypt, Greece

and Rome. Astronomy, mathematics and medicine flourished in cultural oases as fertile as those that watered

desert sands. Dhows and caravans have followed these routes for centuries, embellishing a legacy that is as

rich in legends as it is in beauty.

AsiaRare wonders reached the courts of Europe: gems of brilliant colors, translucent porcelains and silks

as light as spider webs. Fabulous tales attached to them, of gilded temples and palaces; of mythic beasts, rumors

of dragons. Over centuries, as once-impenetrable gates opened, the world was revealed to have another half, as

wide and rich as could have been imagined. Sail among the islands of the Java and South China Seas. Marvel at

ancient temples in Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, and shining glass towers in Singapore and Shanghai.

Contemplate the tranquil gardens of Bali and Kobe, and the invigorating bustle of Taipei.

Panama Canal & South AmericaSeabourn Quest traces the coast of South America seasonally between Buenos Aires and the Caribbean, calling

in at scenic Rio de Janeiro and the colorful towns of Brazil’s northeast, and venturing up the mighty Amazon to explore

its jungle-shrouded banks. Seabourn Odyssey sails another classic route, transiting the Panama Canal. Along the way,

the remnants of early Mesoamerican cultures blend with the Spanish charms of towns such as Antigua, Guatemala and

Cartagena. The canal itself is an unforgettable experience — your Seabourn Odyssey rises and falls with grace as gravity-fed

water fills and empties the huge locks.

Seabourn’s intimate, nimble ships make the most of their time among the islands of the Caribbean. They seek

out the sheltered harbors and unspoiled towns where visitors are welcomed with low-key friendliness and traditional

hospitality. Our itineraries give the captain options to anchor in a secluded cove and deploy the ship’s unique fold-out

Marina for an afternoon of watersports, or have the staff prepare a festive Caviar in the Surf beach barbecue. So, step

ashore into Seabourn’s Uncommon Caribbean.

In autumn, the hardwood forests’ display of color is world-renowned. This is when we bring Seabourn Quest to

the colonial capitals and scenic ports of Canada and New England. These voyages possess a wide variety of appeal to

satisfy any interest. The towns along Québec’s St. Lawrence River might be mistaken for villages along the Loire, and the

shingle beaches of Gaspé and bluffs of Prince Edward Island recall Brittany. Bar Harbor’s granite slopes and lobster

shacks still attract seasonal yachtsmen, as they did during the heyday when the Giants of Industry built palatial summer

“camps” to celebrate their holidays in rustic grandeur.

seabourn club

Please visit Seabourn.com for additional information, and full terms and conditions.

AsavaluedmemberofourSeabournClub, you know you can look forward to an especially warm welcome

when you next step on the gangway. You will enjoy a comfortable familiarity with the ship and staff, a shared camaraderie

with your shipmates, and an array of exclusive Seabourn Club benefits that we offer in sincere gratitude for your

loyalty — benefits that extend from recognition, rewards and privileges on board to added values and special offers at

home. Those benefits begin to multiply in a very short time, and they accumulate into the most valuable loyalty rewards

programme in cruising. Your loyalty is rewarded in two ways: Milestone Awards based on the number of days you sail

and Seabourn Club Points. Just as we offer you the luxury of choice while on board, we want to extend to you the

luxury of choosing from a range of benefits when you sail with us.

Milestones Awards

Each day you sail with Seabourn earns you one Sailed Day,

and these days count toward your Milestone Awards.

Seabourn Club Milestone Awards feature a complimentary

cruise of up to seven days when your Club account reaches

140 Redeemable Sailed Days, or a complimentary cruise

of up to 14 days when 250 Redeemable Sailed Days is

reached. We are also pleased to recognize you at an

onboard event with a special gift from Tiffany & Co®. when

you celebrate these Sailed Day milestones:

Seabourn Club Points

In addition to earning Milestone Awards, you can also

earn Seabourn Club Points that qualify you for an array

of additional benefits on board and at home. These points

establish your Seabourn Club Membership level. There

are a number of ways to earn Seabourn Club Points:
