The SeeCarHead unit is an optimized and compact camera illumination unit integrated into the LPRsystem. This unit is fully supported by the application and utilizes its additional features to maximizethe results. The application controls the level of illumination (4 levels). The image capture issynchronized with the illumination to achieve higher signal to noise ratios.

Video Panel : Contains live video pictures, with zoom option
Control Panel : Allows the control of illumination pins, switching camera and rotating
the displayed video.
Diagram Panel : Graphically displays image statistical information
74
Displays live video image.
Zoom in: Click anywhere in the video image, drag the mouse and release it to form a rectangle. The image in the marked rectangle will then zoom in, and be displayed across the whole video panel. You can repeat this process to zoom in the resulting image.
Zoom out: Use shortcut key Ctrl+space, or right click the image, in the menu that opens select Zoom…, and in the submenu select Zoom Out. If you zoomed in several times, each zoom out
will undo one zoom in operation, until you reach the original image .
Fit To Window: Cancels any zoom operation, and displays the original image. To select this option, right click the image, in the menu that opens select Zoom…, and in the submenu select Fit to Window.
Image Rotation is done through Control Panel.
Video Panel
75
Control Panel
•Frame Grabbers select camera to display . Select the camera board number and channel number, then click Apply.
•Illumination Pins toggle buttons that turn illumination pins on and off.
•Image Rotation rotate the video image
76
Diagram PanelAverage brightness is average of image pixels. Low brightness value represents a dark image,
while high brightness value represents a light image. STD Deviation chart represents image contrast, thus reflects image focus. A higher value of STD deviation means a better focus.
77
Control Panel
RGB graph shows RGB components of incoming video signal
Note that if you want to measure the brightness or contrast of a region in the image (for example, the plate zone), then first zoom into that region, and the values will reflect the measurements within that small area.
Note : To start SeeCal , open SeeService , disable SeeGate , exit from SeeGate, start SeeCal. To enable SeeGate back , exit from SeeCal, open SeeService , enable SeeGate
