    SECTION 1POLYFAB 2011 TENSION SHADE WORKSHOP SERIES

    Polyfab USA held a series of Tension Shade Workshops throughout the first quarter of2011. Almost 300 attendees in Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Columbus, Denverand Hayward learned techniques of design, cutting & sewing of Tension Shades withindustry experts (Timothy Akes of MPanel Software and Barry Jamieson of PolyfabAustralia) and a guest fabricator (Patrick Howe of Wholesale Shade Sails, Inc.).

    Everyone we talked to told us they appreciated the opportunity to either see thesetechniques for the first time, or to ask questions of the guest experts.

    SECTION 2ALL WHITE? ALL RIGHT!

    Polyfab USA recently received the first shipment of White Polytexwhich was shipped

    out to distributors as soon as it hit the warehouse in California! The reception was

    overwhelming (and cleaned us out), so we have more rolls coming from the factory, andthese should be available from your distributors sometime after

    July 4th.

    NEW!

    WHITE POLYTEX & WHITE COMTEX

    In fact, the response was so strong that the decision was made

    to also add White Comtex to the US product line. The first

    shipment of White Comtex should arrive here in mid-to late

    August. Please contact your distributor if you want to put a roll or more of either

    item on hold!

    SECTION 3NEW EDGE WEBBING STOCK ON THE WATER!

    A large shipment of Polyfab Shade Sail Edge Webbing is on the waterand due to

    arrive in the US from our webbing mill in Australia about the end of June 2011. [There is

    enough Edge Webbing coming in to go around the outside edge of a football field 198times!] Stock should be available from your favorite distributor shortly thereafter.

    All distributors have stock of Edge Webbing sample cards, so ask for yours with your

    next shipment of Polyfab fabric!

    Polytex- A superior fire rated knitted HDPE shade fabric designed for use in modularshade structures and shade sails. Recommended for residential and small commercialinstallations with unsupported spans of 25 feet or less.

    SECTION 6SPOTLIGHT ON POLYFAB FABRIC JOBS

    Victory Awning in Ft. Worth, TX makes awnings, signs, carport covers, shade structures, industrial sewn

    products, cabanas and architectural metal awnings for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area as well as for

    nationwide corporate clients. These parking lot covers are made from Aquamarine Polytex and are at

    the Texas Motor SpeedwayVictory Awning did both the shade and metal fabrication!
