TYPES OF USB

• The first type made in 1999 by Amir Ban, Dov Moran and Oron Ogdan (M-systems company).

• The first USB selled in 2000 by.

• Usually available 1,2,4,8,16 and up to 256GB.

• Made of plastic or metal or rubber.

USES OF USB • USB is used in many fields for different

things :

• Transfer data.

• Store data.

• Applications holder.

ADVANTAGES OF USB

• Easy to use.

• Easy to carry.

• Have different types.

• Save a lot of data.

DISADVANTAGES OF USB

• Some flashes have limited writing.

• It can be exposed to viruses or hacker or delete data.

HOW IT WORK ?To save a file in USB :

1- Plug USB into computer.

2- Choose any file you want to save.

3- Right click the file.

4- Choose send to the flash.

• To delete a file in USB

1- Plug USB into computer.

2- Open the flash.

3- Select the file that you want to delete.

4- Right click the file.

5- Select delete.

To send file from USB to computer :

1- Plug USB into computer.

2- Open the USB flash.

3- Select the file by right click.

4- Select send to desktop.

PROBLEMS • Sometimes the USB have some

problems with viruses, damages and errors.

HOW TO SOLVE IT ?

• To format a USB :1- Plug the USB into computer.

2- Right click the USB.3- Select format.
