SINGAPORE’S importers and exporters are markedly more optimistic about the trade outlook, with confidence surging in the September quarter in line with the rap-idly improving global economy.The Republic registered 110 in the latest HSBC Trade Confidence Index, up from 100 in the three months to June - recording one of the biggest jumps in confidence of the 12 markets surveyed by the bank.The index ranges from zero to 200, with any number above 100 indicating rising levels of confidence.
