Sherman Cymru produces work in both English and Welsh, and tours widely within Wales and the UK. Currently, the Sherman building is undergoing an 18 month redevelopment. Public and backstage facilities will be transformed to provide audiences and participants with a building that reflects the spirit and energy of Sherman Cymru. Kevin has over thirty years experience working as an actor and director specialising in making work for children and young people. Since 1991 he has been Artistic Director of Theatr Iolo where he has directed or performed in over 50 productions.

His one person show, Marcos, has been performed throughout the UK and at Festivals in the USA, Ireland, Austria and Russia. Most recently he co-created and performed in Out of the Blue, a show for babies aged 6-18 months.

Mae gan Kevin fwy na deng mlynedd ar hugain o brofiad o weithio fel actor a chyfarwyddwr, gan arbenigo ar greu gwaith ar gyfer plant a phobl ifanc. Ers 1991 mae wedi bod yn Gyfarwyddwr Artistig i Theatr Iolo ble mae wedi cyfarwyddo a pherfformio mewn mwy na 50 o gynyrchiadau.

Mae ei sioe un person, Marcos, wedi ei pherfformio ledled y DU ac mewn gwyliau yn UDA, Iwerddon, Awstria a Rwsia. Yn fwyaf diweddar bu iddo gyd-greu a pherfformio yn Out of the Blue, sioe i fabanod rhwng 6-18 mis oed.

Charlotte trained at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Charlotte has worked with a number of companies including Sherman Cymru’s Acting Out Cardiff group, Mess up the Mess, The National Youth Theatre of Wales, The Courtyard Theatre, Hereford and The Theatre Royal, Bath. She also tutors Props and Puppetry at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Hyfforddwyd Charlotte yng Ngholeg Brenhinol Cerdd a Drama Cymru.

Mae Charlotte wedi gweithio â nifer o gwmnïau gan gynnwys grwp Acting Out Caerdydd Sherman Cymru, Mess up the Mess, Theatr Ieuenctid Genedlaethol Cymru, Theatr y Courtyard, Henffordd a’r Theatr Royal, Caerfaddon. Katy has been part of the Sherman Production Team since 2004 and was appointed Deputy Chief Electrician in 2006.

TheatreShe has completed lighting designs for productions including: Ernie’s Incredible Illucinations, Floating Doors, Promise, Credit/Crunch (Acting Out Cardiff); Kontakt (Sherman Cymru Youth Theatre); four plays for Directors’ Week 2009, Patroiophobia, No Vacancies (Sherman Cymru). She has also worked as tour re-lighter for Sherman Cymru productions and has designed for a number of shows by Theatr Iolo, including Snail Woman Flower Star and Whose Shoes?

Sarah specialises in theatre for the under 5s. In 2007, she received a Creative Wales Award to research theatre for babies and toddlers. This research led to a further European award to create Out of the Blue, for audiences aged 6-18 months. Sarah has now been nominated by the UK Centre of ASSITEJ (the world association for theatre for children and young people), for its prestigious International Honorary President’s Award for Innovation for her work for the youngest audiences.

Dafydd is a writer, composer and performer and was awarded a Total Theatre Award for music and theatre in 2009. He trained at the London International School of Performing Arts. He is currently working with Mess up the Mess, developing a new musical for National Theatre Wales and translating Spring Awakening: The Musical for Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru.
