İki cümle arasındaki sebep-sonuç ilişkisini anlatırken so … that veya such … that kalıbını kullanırız.

Bu kalıplardan sonra gelen cümle sonuç bildirir.

so ve such niteledikleri kelimenin anlamı güçlendirirler.

Cümleye kattıkları anlam “o kadar … ki”, “öyle … ki” dir.

so ve that yapısının arasına bir sıfat veya zarf gelir.
