We are facing difficult times.

Extreme budget cuts = lack of (necessary) staff

Extreme budget cuts = lack of (necessary) staff:

Librarians covering multiple buildings

Reduced (or no) support staff

At the same time, we have new responsibilities:

Implementing the Common Core

Changes in teacher evaluation

SLOs & other student assessments

Ordering materials to support recommended texts

In addition to what we already do:

Promoting transliteracy

Teaching classes

Collaborating with teachers

Serving as tech leaders

Encouraging reading for pleasure

So...How do we navigate these challenges?
