St. Peter Worship at Key to Life
The Shepherd’s Candle
Saturday, December 13
Welcome toSt. Peter!
We welcome you to worship this Third Week in Advent. Have you noticed? The Advent wreath is glowing more and more brightly because soon we will celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Light of the world! Our Advent worship continues today as we focus on the Third Candle of Advent, the Shepherd’s Candle. May the Chief Shepherd accept and bless our joyful worship, just as he accepted the shepherds’ worship on Christmas Eve.
Welcome toSt. Peter!
There are friendship registers at the end of each row of chairs.
Please take a moment to give us your information so that we have a record of your time with us today.
Thank you!

Prayer before WorshipLord Jesus, the very first people to hear
about your birth were the shepherds who were just doing their jobs at night. I’m greatly comforted knowing that you came, not just for the rich and famous, but especially for the poor and the lonely. As the shepherds came and worshiped you, so am I here to praise and honor you for being my Good Shepherd and Savior. Amen.
OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE
In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word.
Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of St. Peter or members of the WELS/ELS. Visitors who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.
