Welcome
To introduce the Cluster and Cluster Plan to our Boards of Trustees and begin our work towards achieving our aim of A united approach to authentic Catholic Education.
Purpose for this meeting

MoE initiative to achieve the Greater Christchurch Educational Renewal Recovery Programme Goals
• Learners achieve the best possible educational outcomes • Young people become confident, connected, actively involved, lifelong
learners • Young people acquire skills and qualifications that will enable them to
make their own futures and contribute to New Zealand’s future • Maori and Pasifika learners and those with special educational needs
are supported to realise their potential • Learners find their identities, languages and cultures valued and
supported throughout their education

1. Encourage full participation from all Christchurch Catholic Primary Principals
2. Strengthen and build on existing collaborative networks.3. Develop a collaborative network with our secondary
colleagues.4. Develop a plan to build open relationships between our
Bishop, Vicar for Education, Parish Priests, Principals, Boards and Catholic Education Office staff to ensure collaboration
5. Develop transparent processes where information is shared6. Have input into a city wide property plan that ensures equity
among all schools in the Te Hapori Akotahi Learning Community
7. Develop a community of Catholic teachers, parents and students to support one another and celebrate our faith
