Seaside  Soiree-  A  huge  thank  you

We  had  a  fantastic  night  on  Saturday.  A  huge  thank  you  goes  to  all  our  families  who  brought  tickets  to  the  event,  donated  to  our  silent  auction,  generously  bid  on  auction  items  and  sponsored  the  evening  (special  mention  goes  to  Everybody's  and  DJ  House  of  Bamboo)  –  your  support  is  much  appreciated  and  we  couldn't  have  done  it  without  you.

We  raised  just  over  $10,000  which  will  go  towards  outdoor  items  for  our  school,  we'll  let  you  know  what  is  purchased  in  due  course.

A  special  thanks  to  the  Organising  Committee:  Rachel,  Robyn  and  Rosie  your  thought  and  effort  is  appreciated  by  the  community  (from  the  staff  at  RRS).

PAST  AND  UPCOMING  EVENTS

Milk  and  Cookies  Evening  Tuesday  8th  August  Thank  you  to  everyone  that  came  along  last  Tuesday  to  the  annual  Milk  and  Cookies  evening.  It  was  great  to  see  so  many  whānau  from  our  community  enjoying  books,  milk  and  cookies  and  each  others  company  across  all  four  of  our  rōpu.  Also  thanks  to  Anne  and  her  wonderful  Year  13  Food  and  Technology  students  from  Mount  Albert  Grammar  School.  The  cookies  were  part  of  their  baking  assessment  and  they  went  fast!  It’s  always  great  to  involve  the  wider  community.

THE  AA  SCHOOL  SAFETY  INITIATIVE  No  matter  how  you  play  it,  it  is  a  challenge  getting  the  kids  to  school  in  the  morning.  With  AA  Members  expressing  road  safety  concerns  about  getting  the  kids  to  and  from  school,  we  want  to  be  able  to  talk  to  AT  about  these  local  issues  and  the  difficulties  you’re  facing  as  part  of  the  school  commute.

Whether  it’s  speeding,  signage  problems,  pedestrian  crossings,  parking,  or  footpath  obstacles,  we  want  to  hear  it!

Share  your  thoughts  with  us:  https://aa.mysocialpinpoint.com/school-safety  -  /

There  are  instructions  as  the  page  opens,  as  well  as  on  the  info  tab  to  your  left  if  you  get  lost.  If  you  encounter  any  problems,  please  don’t  hesitate  to  get  in  touch.
