Abstract
This research aims to analyze the implementation of social welfare policy for the elderly into practice in order to give involvement sectors the basic metric analysis and development indicators in the field of welfare services for the elderly and theoretical attention. Moreover, to use as a guide for analyzing on social welfare policy for the elderly to practice for various sectors involved in the preparation of policies, plans, projects / activities to assist the elderly to be analyzed as a measure given.
The population in this study were groups of people who associated with the implementation of social welfare policy for the elderly into practice consisting of government officials, provincial government officials, local government officials, and the public involved in total of 120 respondents answering questionnaires and 20 respondents giving data. Data analysis using descriptive statistic including

frequency, percentage, mean (X ) and standard deviation. From data collection and interviews revealed that the policy of social welfare for the elderly to practice in various areas in the overall demand for the Elderly. Considering it was found that the implementation of social welfare policy for the elderly into practice, when considering in each aspect, the need for social welfare policy for the elderly were in 4 areas, while another were in fine level. Ranking from highest to lowest average were the analysis of health policy primacy, followed by the policy analysis of social service, the analysis of social security policies, and lastly, the policy analysis in recreational, respectively.
