In 1984 he started his first book, A Time to kill.

John Grisham now lives on a large farm in Mississsppi with his wife and two children. He is one world’s bestselling crime writers. The client is his fourth book and it has also made into a film.

Mark Sway and his brother saw a lawyer,Jerome Clifford, who was killing himself, they tried to help the lawyer,but it was not successful. before he was dead,he told Mark some important secret.

That makes Mark’s life become dangerous..

Gist 1

Since they saw Jerome killing himself, Ricky had been sick. Dianne was very worried him, and called the Dr.Greenway to take care of Ricky. Then FBI men want to ask Mark some problem, it makes Mark nervous and not knowing what to do .

Jerome’s client ,Barry, understood that Mark knew something important. And he let a man who was called Gronke to menace Mark. If he told the secret , he would be killed.

Mark was very afraid that those bad guys will hurt his family. So, he did not understood how shall he do?

In the bar, he saw Gill and a man talking. It makes he think he could find lawyer to help him. But when Mark goes to visit Gill, Gill is so busy that Mark can’t find him. Then Mark find another lawyer,

Reggie.

Reggie Love, is a powerful lawyer, she stay with Mark to see the FBI, and touched Mark to say the secret ,and makes he come down, and to help him find ways to solve, When Mark on the Court Reggie efforts to help him.

When Mark get away from jail to the hospital, and he called for help to Reggie, then they go to lawyer’s houseboat to find the corpse. Unlucky they met Barry and his men are preparing moving corpse away from the houseboat, then she caused the attention of neighbors make Barry and those men to escape.

Opinion-1

This is a thriller novel. Mark is a very precocity and suspicious child. But also is a very kindhearted. He was supposed to save Jerome. However it was not successful, instead makes his life in danger. Barry let a man to menace Mark, it made he very nervous in addition to FBI wanted his help.

Opinion-2

Fortunately, Mark meet Reggie. Reggie is a good lawyer . Although Mark just use 1 dollar to employ her, she doesn’t look down upon he. Contrarily , she keep helping Mark, and together Ride out the storm. I have ever seen how kind people likes her. If we have change we also want to make friend with her.

Opinion-3

Reggie and Mark become fair-weather friend. After everything is clear , Mark,his brother and mother, leave to Mississippi to their new life. We don’t know the thing in the story whether is true or not. But it is a very interesting and worth a visit in look book.
