Sw i t c h是一個全球性的運動，它致力於使用綠色

裡，SwitchChina的目標遍及不同層面，包含以清潔

The Switch Project is a global campaign that is ded-icated to improving people’s lives through the clean energy economy by creating green jobs. The vision of SwitchChina is to build clean-energy community all over China and beyond. By radically reducing thepollution that causes global warming, this project will also improve the health of everyone around the planet. In the other hand, by creating millions of quality jobs and careers, our project will help pull unemployed workers out of the current recession, strengthen our middle class, and better protect peo-ple from future economic turmoil.

China has made a large business of manufacturing solar panels, and over 35% of them are produced in Guangdong. But less than 10% of the energy used in the area is solar . According to the research report, there are now over 100 million jobless people in China, who have no other income. For many, losing a job is not only a money issue, it’s losing hopes, dreams, and even families. Here is the solu-tion that SwitchChina will bring to all these unemployed factory workers: the ability to own individual single family homes, to get new jobs, and no more energy bills, ever. 

Ou r aim is to hire them and star t building solar communities all over the country. The first solar community we present is named “Mount Everest”, after the world’s highest mountain. This solar-powered community won’t just help reduce pollution, it will grant unemployed factory workers new opportunities: jobs and chances to own their first homes. The sun delivers 20,000 times more energ y to Earth than humans need every minute. If we use it properly, it is a great resource for free energy.

This community has a strong personality that able to connect the indoor and outdoor atmosphere. It is achieved through the asymmetrical voids on the walls that not only acted to connect the outer world towards inside of the house, but also allows the house to gain suff icient sunlight.

The sun shines everywhere. The solar powered system we use is the next generation of solar panels called SunScience. Dr. James Parker and Dick Kelsey, of Snow Peak Energy Inc., designed this technology in California in 2006. The SunScience integ rates a unique lens design with exist-ing high ef ficiency photovoltaic technolog y to deliver electricity at half the cost of existing solar technology. The new technology can also help create some of the much-anticipated green jobs and achieve the best-cost results without intensive capital investment. This new solar power technology will provide all electrical needs for our community’s buildings. This will provide two benef its to the consumer; f irst, low-costelectricity supply to building occupants, and second, the potential to sell back electricity to the utility at rates that range from 0.14 per KwH to 0.28 per KwH. SwitchChina will hire unemployed factory workers to reproduce SunScience solar system in Guangdong. These solar panels are made of lightweight materials and can be mounted directly onto the roof without a significant roof load issues. The approximate weight of a 4 by 8 ft section is 60 lbs. Those multiple curved lens collectors refract sunlight to receptor photovoltaic cells better than the traditional solar panels. The concept of this project is to use the economic advantages of solar energ y: energ y supply without transportation costs, without g igantic infrastructure, and without large management expenditures.
