This year, there are approximately 50 students enrolled in CHE 504. Because of this, we have the ability to use our creative talents and produce a very large, periodic table poster in the hall outside this classroom. Here is how the project works. 1- Each student will randomly pick 2 elements from a hat. 2- The student will make a poster for each element. The poster must fit onto a standard 6.5” by 11”sheet of paper. The powerpoint page is already sized for this. Use the template. You can download the file from the course webpage. The poster must include the following. The atomic symbol, atomic number and atomic mass, the boiling point, melting point, electronegativity, atomic radius and ionization energy. This year, there are approximately 50 students enrolled in CHE 504. Because of this, we have the ability to use our creative talents and produce a very large, periodic table poster in the hall outside this classroom. Here is how the project works.
