Англи хэлний үйл үгийн идэвхгүй хэв нь

/to be+ past participle/ хэлбэртэй байна.

Идэвхгүй хэвийг үйлийн эзэн тодорхойгүй болон чухал биш

тохиолдолд эсвэл хам сэдвээсээ илэрхий болж байгаа

тохиолдолд хэрэглэдэг.

Жишээ нь:

My car stolen last night.

/It is unknown subject/Үйлийн эзэн тодорхойгүй

Жишээ нь:

The plants are watered every evening.

/It is unimportant subject/Үйлийн эзэн чухал биш

Жишээ нь:

The mail has been delivered.

/It is obvious from the context/Хам шинжээсээ тодорхой

Үйлийн эзэнийг бичих тохиолдолд ‘by’ угтвар авна:

The windows are cleaned by Selly.
