    EN This Quickstart Guide providesinstructions on the setup and usageof your Voyager 510 Mobile Headset.This product can be used as an audioaccessory for devices supportingeither the Headset or Hands-freeBluetooth Profiles.

    POWER ON/OFF

    EN Connect the supplied wall chargerto AC power and then to yourheadset. The Status Indicator will beilluminated red while charging andchange to blue when the headset isfully charged. The headset must be

    charged for a minimum of 1 hourprior to use 3 hours to fully charge.

    Do not use the headset whilecharging and do not connect thecharger while the headset is inuse.

    EN Press and hold the Power/MuteButton for three seconds (long press)to turn the headset on or off.

    EN The Status Indicator flashes bluewhen the headset is on. When thebattery becomes low, the indicatorwill flash red.

    EN 1. Turn on both devices.2. Place the headset in pairing modeby simultaneously pressing andholding the Call Control Button andthe Listen Volume Adjust Buttonmarked + (volume up). Release the

    buttons when the Status Indicatorbegins to flash red then blue.

    EN Before using your headset for the firsttime, you must pair it w ith anotherBluetooth device, such as a mobilephone. Follow the steps beginningon the next page for most dev ices.You can also refer to your phone userguide or visit www.plantronics.com.

    EN Use your phones menu to search forBluetooth audio devices and selectPLT 510 when it appears on thedisplay.Note:In some circumstances thepairing process can take up to 2minutes to complete.

    EN When then phone display asks fora passkey, enter: 0000. The StatusIndicator flashes blue, once theheadset is successfully paired. Ifpairing fails, try again following thesteps beginning on page 6.

    If the headset stops responding

    to button presses, you must resetthe headset. To reset the headset,long press (3 seconds) the MUTEand VOLUME DOWN buttonssimultaneously.

    EN To answer or end a call, short press theCall Control button. (Less than 0.8 sec.)

    EN To place a call using voice dialing,press and hold the Call ControlButton for 2 seconds. If you are on acall using your phone handset, youcan transfer the call to your headsetby a short press of the Call Controlbutton.

    EN The following additional features maybe available if your phone supports theHands-free Profile. Not all phones supportHands-free Profile. Refer to your phoneuser guide for additional information orvisit www.plantronics.com.

    Call Transfer back to phone To transfera call from your headset back to your phone,press and hold the Call Control button. You

    will hear a tone. When you hear a secondtone, the transfer has been completed andyou can release the button.

    Call Reject To reject a call withoutanswering when the handset is ringing,press and hold the Call Control button. Youwill hear a tone. When you hear a secondtone, the call has been rejected and you canrelease the button.

    Last Number redial To redial the lastnumber, quickly press the Call Controlbutton twice. You will hear a tone on eachpress. When you hear a further tone, the lastnumber has been redialed.

    EN During a call, short press thePower/Mute Button to mute themicrophone. When muted, theheadset will sound two tones every30 seconds. To take the microphoneoff mute, press the button again.

    EN Rotate the microphone horizontallyand vertically as illustrated, to selectyour left or right ear. The illustrationshows conversion from right to leftear wearing. Reverse the procedure toconvert from left to right ear wearing.

    EN During a call, press the ListenVolume Adjust Buttons to adjust thevolume.

    EN Slide the headset over and behindyour ear. Then, press gently towardsyour ear for a snug fit. Adjust themicrophone position so that it isdirected towards your mouth asillustrated.

    The radiated output power of this internal wireless radio is far below the FCC radio frequencyexposure limits. Nevertheless, the wireless radio shall be used as described in the manual.

    The internal wireless radio operates within guidelines found in radio frequency safety standards andrecommendations, which reflect the consensus of the scientific community.

    Plantronics therefore believes the internal wireless radio is safe for use by consumers. The levelof energy emitted is far less than the electromagnetic energy emitted by wireless devices such
