1 SAFETY INFORMATION

The following safety signs for operation are used through out the manual..!WARNNING .!CAUTION The instrument was not operated correctly, injury both to the calibrator or the operator

might occur .

NOTE Short annotation or additional explaination .

To avoid electric shock, injury or damage to the calibrator or operator , please follow the safety instruction

!WARNNING·Operate in gas:DO NOT operate the instrument under the condition where combustible gas, explosive gas

, dust and steam exists. it’s extremely dangerous.·Operation:DO NOT apply voltage over 30V to any two terminals and between terminal and GND.

!CAUTION·Disassembly:Only authorized and qualified operator is allowed to disassemble the unit. ·Cleaning:Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and detergent, do not use abrasives and solvents.

NOTE·Operation:To gurantee the accuracy, the instrument should be warmed up for at least 5 minutes after power

up. ·Operation:When not operate the instrument, it's better to turn off the power or set it to OFF position, that's the battery life can be longer; When output curent, it's better to use outside 24VDC power to make the battery life is longer.·Operation:If the user has special requirement on accuracy, please contact us.

attempt to replace fuse or battery.

3.1 If LCD shows ,battery is low. Replace the battery with new battery.3.2 If the output of the instrument does not change with the output of the pannel setting,

more likely the fuse blows, replace it as the following:1) Remove the testing lead and turn the power off.2) Remove holster, unlock the battery case and remove.3) Loosen the three bolts on the back case and open the front case.4) Replace the 0.1A / 250V fast-blow fuse on main board marked F1.5) Put case back in place.

4 Power on/off

4.1 POWER key operationpress POWER key to turn the power on, press it again over 1 sec. will turn it off.A self test is run during the initial power on and version VC 15 is displayed.

NOTE·ELECTRIFY:to assure correct electrifying, please reset after turning -off the power for 5 second .

4.2 Auto power-offDefault setting for auto power off is 10 minutes after idling (see paragraph 7)

5 Instrument output

DCV , DCA or analoge transducer which the user set is output from (OUTPUT)terminal.

!CAUTION!·OPERATION:do not apply voltage to output terminal, if improper voltage is applied, the inner circuit will be damaged.
