RULES OF THE DEBATE

For the substantive speech, each speaker will be given 7 minutes to deliver their speech.

At the first minute, the time keeper will knock once (KNOCK).

At the sixth minute, the time keeper will knock once (KNOCK).

At the seventh minute, the time keeper will knock twice (KNOCK x2).

At 7 minutes and 15 seconds, the time keeper will knock four times and afterwards will

knock intermittently until the speaker stop speaking (KNOCK x4).

Points of information are allowed to be given between the first and the sixth minute spanning

for a maximum of 15 seconds.

For the reply speech, both speakers will be given 4 minutes to deliver their speech.

At the third minute, the time keeper will knock once (KNOCK).

At the fourth minute, the time keeper will knock twice (KNOCK x2).

At 4 minutes and 15 seconds, the time keeper will knock four times and afterwards will

knock intermittently until the speaker stop speaking (KNOCK x4).

Points of information are not allowed to be given at any point of the speech.
