Disneyland Resort

• This resort is in Anaheim, California and it is the first Disney resort

• There are 2 theme parks: Disneyland park and Disney Califronia Adventure.

• There are 3 Disney hotels: Disneyland Hotel, Disney´s Paradise Pier Hotel and Disney´s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa

• It opened in 1955.

Disneyland Paris

Location and interesting facts • WDW is located at Bay

Lake near Orlando, Florida.

• The property covers 11 031 ha.

• There are 4 theme parks and 2 water parks.

• Complex houses 27 themed resort hotels.

• There is 1 camping resort.

• There are 4 golf courses.

A little bit of history

• In 1959 Walt Disney started to search a place for another theme park.

• Project´s nickname was Project X (later Florida project).

• Sadly Walt Disney died before the beginning of the construction

• Complex officially opened on October 1, 1971.

• Roy O. Disney - brother of Walt Disney who built the park died only 2 months after the opening of the Walt Disney World.
