تــم تعيينهــا بأمــر ملكــي أمينــًا عامًا للمجلــس بدرجة وزير في نوفمبر 2010، ومنــذ ذلــك الحيــن والجهــاز التنفيــذي للمجلــس األعلــى للمــرأة يعمــل علــى تحقيــق رؤيــة المجلــس مــن أجــل »شــراكة متكافئــة« لبنــاء مجتمــع تنافســي

مســتدام، واإلســهام فــي اســتمرارية تقــدم المــرأة البحرينيــة.

مــن خــال توليهــا منصــب األميــن العــام انصــب تركيزهــا بشــكل كبيــر علــى وضــع الخطــة االســتراتيجية لتنفيــذ الخطــة الوطنيــة لنهــوض المــرأة البحرينيــة 2013 – 2022. المتمثلــة فــي تمكينهــا واســتمرارية تعلمهــا مــدى الحيــاة والمســاعدة علــى ضمــان ــات والمــوارد الازمــة ــارات المتاحــة لهــا مــن خــال تســخير اإلمكان ــوع الخي وتعــدد وتنســعيًا لارتقــاء بجــودة حياتهــا. ومــن أحــد أهــم الملفــات التــي تتولــى مســئولية متابعتها، توجــه المجلــس نحــو تحقيــق نتائــج ملموســة وذات أثــر تمضــي قدمــًا بمســائل إدمــاج احتياجــات المــرأة فــي التنميــة المســتدامة وتكافــؤ الفــرص علــى المســتوى الوطنــي.

وقــد دأبــت بنشــاط علــى المشــاركة فــي القضايــا المتصلــة بالمــرأة مــن خــال إطــاق مشــاريع وبرامــج تقــوم علــى إقامــة تحالفــات وشــراكات مــع المؤسســات الرســمية

ولــدت فــي مدينــة المنامــة بمملكــة البحريــن فــي ينايــر 1968، وفــي عــام 1988 حصلــت علــى دبلــوم مشــارك فــي علــم الحاســوب اآللــي مــن جامعــة البحريــن، وفــي عــام 1992 ــن، وفــي عــام حصلــت علــى درجــة البكالوريــوس فــي إدارة األعمــال مــن جامعــة البحري1994 حصلــت علــى درجــة الماجســتير فــي إدارة األعمــال مــن جامعــة جولــدن جيــت

Hala Mohammed Jaber Al Ansari was born in the city of Manama in the Kingdom of Bahrain in January 1968. In 1988, she obtained a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain. In 1992, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration aslo from the University of Bahrain and in 1994 received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Golden Gate University in the United States of America.

Orders of Merits, Honorary Titles and Memberships

• Order of Merit from His Majesty the King of Bahrain for Pioneers of National Work (2011).

• Head of the 36th Session of the Arab Women’s Committee, League of Arab States,2017-2018.

• Member of the National Committee responsible for the implementation of the recommendations of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry “BICI” (2011).

• Member of the Executive Board of the Arab Women Organization (2010).

Mrs. Al Ansari held the position of Assistant Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (in the rank of Undersecretary) between 2001 and 2010. She was part of the administrative team in charge of setting the organizational foundations, administrative policies as well as building a professional cadre specialized in formulating, and implementing plans based on monitoring and evaluation methodologies; in addition to measuring performance and impact.

Prior to joining the Supreme Council for Women, she gained experience in the field of media as the Head of Media Affairs at the office of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King of Bahrain since 2000. She started her career in Bahrain Telecommunications Company (BATELCO), contributing to the establishment of the company’s Staff Communications Department where she held the position in the Department of Policies and Procedures at BATELCO between1996-1998. Mrs. Al Ansari then held the role of Director of the Staff Communications Department between 1998-2000.

Through her role as Secretary General, she has focused on developing the strategic plan for the implementation of the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women 2013-2022. The Plan emphasizes the importance of empowering women and sustaining the concept of lifelong learning as well as ensuring the availability of a diverse number of options and essential resources by dedicating their distinctive efforts to improve their quality of life. One of the most important portfolios under her responsibility is ensuring the SCW works towards creating an impact in terms of mainstreaming women’s needs to achieve sustainable development and equal opportunities on a national level.

She has been actively involved in issues relating to the advancement of women through programs and projects based on the establishment of alliances and partnerships with public, private and civil society institutions both regionally and internationally.

Kingdom of Bahrain

Appointed as Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (at ministerial rank) by Royal Order in November 2010. Since then, the executive organization of the SCW has been working to achieve its vision of attaining “equal partnership to enhance sustainable competitiveness within the society” and contribute to the continuity of the development process of Bahraini women.
