1 「あなたがたは心を騒がしてはなりません。神を信じ、またわたしを信じなさい。 “Do not let your hearts be troubled.

You believe in God; believe also in me.

2 わたしの父の家には、住まいがたくさんあります。もしなかったら、あなたがたに言っておいたでしょう。あなたがたのために、わたしは場所を備えに行くのです。 My Father’s house has many rooms; if

that were not so, would I have told you

that I am going there to prepare a

place for you?


3 わたしが行って、あなたがたに場所を備えたら、また来て、あなたがたをわたしのもとに迎えます。わたしのいる所に、あなたがたをもおらせるためです。 And if I go and prepare a place for you,

I will come back and take you to be

with me that you also may be where I

am.


4 わたしの行く道はあなたがたも知っています。」 You know the way to the place

where I am going.


5 トマスはイエスに言った。「主よ。どこへいらっしゃるのか、私たちにはわかりません。どうして、その道が私たちにわかりましょう。」 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t

know where you are going, so how

can we know the way?”


6 イエスは彼に言われた。「わたしが道であり、真理であり、いのちなのです。わたしを通してでなければ、だれひとり父のみもとに来ることはありません。 Jesus answered, “I am the way and

the truth and the life. No one comes to

the Father except through me.


7 あなたがたは、もしわたしを知っていたなら、父をも知っていたはずです。しかし、今や、あなたがたは父を知っており、また、すでに父を見たのです。」

If you really know me, you will

know my Father as well. From now on,

you do know him and have seen him.”


平安？確信？

Peace? Confidence?

どうして平安と確信がないのか？ /Why loosing peace and confidence?

①目的・ゴールがわからないから because we don’t know the purpose

②道に迷っているいるから because we are lost

③何を信じたらいいかわからないから because we don’t know what to believe

④保証を求めるが、見つけられないから because we seek guaranty

⑤答えを見つけられないから because we don’t have the answer

わたしは道であり、真理であり、いのちである
