This program is mainly about products the white-collar women use to make some exercise and relax their tired bodies after all day’s work.

InsightExercise

Most women, especially as white-collar women, care about their figures as well as their healthy. However, in China, women with an office jod uwually cannot have enough time to the gym after the work.

Insight

We find out there are no products in the market which can help women exercise or evern relax their sedentary bodies. Most sports equipment are not suitable for office where the space is limited.

INDUCTION

Our goal is to design the prooduct which can help white-collar women sitting on the chair all day have some exercise and relax their bodies to prevent shouider or back pain. At the same time, our target users have more requirements about product appearance with their own personalities. As a result, enough research on exisiting woman exercise products and what women aged from 20 to 30 really need.

This is a piece of sports equipment which is designed specially for those female white-collar workers who wish to keep exercising in the office. It prevents the embarrassment that comes from vigorous exercise and is, therefore, not appropriate in the office without having any influencce on the work environment. The leg muscles of those female workers who wear high-heels shoes all the time can feel tighe and uncomfortable. Some suitable relaxing exercise will reduse the health risks caused by a sedentary work life. Consequently, our product is a concept design for the features and health requirement of the female white- collar workers.

This visit was conducted in the autumn of 2014.We found the informa-tion about the lantern craft master, then connacted with him to pay a visit. We travelled to Suzhou, a beautiful classic city. We went to the craftman’s studio near a small peaceful lake. The 73-year-old craftman treat us enthusiasticly, talking to us about all the history of lantern craft from ancient time to now on. Meanwhile, he showed us the progress of making a lantern now.We are shocked by his amazing skills.

The washing machine is designed especially for those laziest single men, freeing their hands and reducing many steps of washing clothes. The machine only needs the user to throw their dirty clothes, then it will start automatically, so easy to wash clothes. POSTSCRIPT：

I was born in this small but beautiful city Wuxi in eastern China where the university i read in is. Since i have been this city for almost 20 years, l have interested in the outside world strongly. Of course, l have travelled to many other cities in China, but the experience is still not enough. The 4 years l have learned for industrial design has givern me a lot. The first time l knew how design can change the world, which shocked me a lot. l can feel the charming of design and l love design. However, all the knowledge l learned from the university is totally not enough for my future career in my opinions. The more l learn, the less l know. l realize that l still have a lot to learn. So, that is why l apply for the university aboard for further study since design has just developed in China for several years.For interaction design, the first time i get to konw it deeply is when l have my internship in a company in Wuxi. I did the most of the work that an UI design and an interaction designer in the same time because of not having enough workers. I learned about how the work was going on in raelity. I do feel interaction design interesting for me. I have got great interest in interaction design. Although i have learned something about it, l still want to accept professional training. I really want to be a qualified interaction designer.
