Three periods for this module, one period for one unit.
The purpose is to improve students’ ability on listening, speaking, reading, writing and thinking.
Students’ learning on discussion and cooperation are used more than teaching and explaining in my class.
We have different teaching methods for each module. But the teaching aims are the same.

This is the first English lesson. Students should know
how to introduce themselves. Teachers should start with
the name, job, age, and hometown as a model. Then
students practice using Activity 5: “ Work in pairs, ask
and answer.” Or using: “ Learning to learn”. The purpose
we use the interactive approach is to give a brief self-
introduction concerning with these aspects.

After speaking, we do listening for Activity 3, 4 & 1. We
can use Activity 4 to check students’ understanding for
dialogue 3. And we can also use the form to check them .

At last, we teach students how to write with the words in
Activity 2.

Introduction. Using these ways.
My Chinese name is Ni Shichun. My English name is
Charlotte. I’m an English teacher. You can call me
Miss /Ms Ni. I’m 39 years old. I’m from Beijing, China.

Guan Zhuang Branch. You’re my students. We’re good
friends.
Remember these language points:

Step 2:
Ask students to introduce themselves with this pattern.
Step 3: Listen to the conversation of Activity 3. Ask students to listen without opening their books. Then answer my questions.

Ask students to retell the conversation and create a
new one with their own real life.
Step 5:
Do listening of Activity 1 and Activity 6.
Step 6: Do writing with the words of Activity 2. I can show them a model before writing. After writing, I’ll read the good ones to the students in order to encourage them to write more. After that, ask students to evaluate whose writing is the best, etc.

Step 7: Learn, watch and do the actions about the words of Activity 8.
