    Drill a 6mm hole at each corner of the template cutout. Remove the template and cut between the holes utilising a jigsaw, grinder (with 1mm disc) or other suitable means.

    Remove all sharp edges and burrs and paint exposed metalwork.

    4. Install cover kit in either the open or closed position as required.

    Adjust cover to give reqd opening

    Position the template as shown and drill one off 8.5mm hole and fix template in position with one of the supplied tamper proof bolts.Markup the remaining hole centres using a centre punch anddrill 3.0mm pilot holes. Remove the template and drill remainingseven 8.5mm holes.

    5. When locating the position of the cable cover on old rectangular padmounts, be mindful of obstructions such as earth studs and fuse panels inside the enclosure.
