Workshop speakers

• Three from synchrotron facilities for XPCS: Drs. Oliver Bunk, Alec R. Sandy, Anders Madsen

• Three from neutron scattering facilities: two from ANSTO, Australia, one from JAEA, Japan. Drs. Gilbert, James, and Koizumi.

• Three eminent users of both neutron/X-ray scattering Profs. Hashimoto, Russel, and Chen

• One protein solution SAXS speaker Dr. Michal Hammel from ALS, he will also help the tutoring session of protein morphology simulation.

• Two X-ray scattering/theoretical experts for soft matter research: Profs. Thurn-Albrecht and de Jeu

• There will be parallel sessions at the end of the workshop for (a) protein solution SAXS data analysis, and (b) XPCS beamline construction details.

• Domestic speakers: 6 out 9 domestic speakers receive the neutron traveling budget support (Marked by blue) from the NSC neutron scattering promotion project.

(2) The visitors will be at PX endstation BL13-B at 15:50, on Oct. 19, and will stay 10 min. (3) We will move to 01B microscopy at 16:00-16:20. (Interest group meeting starts at 16:30.) They will move to 23A SAWXS at 16:20 - 16:50. And will move back to L100 at 17:00

獎名單，將在大會晚宴頒獎。學生保障得獎名額。

年會布條已張掛。海報已印製並發送各單位。

為響應環保，建議印製海報150份只寄單位不寄個人。 (去年600

份)；建議不印製報名簡章，以網路寄送。(去年未寄送)

會議手冊：A5 Size、會議手冊之壁報部份建議只印壁報目錄，不印摘要，以節省手冊重量紙張，響應環保。

於9月30日再確認後付印; 10月14日完成。

使用會議地點：行政大樓各會議室

L100/A300/L201已完成視訊會議聯結網路(莊家權)。可提供用戶會議及workshop演講參與人數 上百之場合。各演講所需之設備檢備完成。演講錄影; 講演時現場助理

會議場地佈置，餐點(500/300人份), 點心，及與會者餐點地點(如圖)已預定(搭棚架)。

演講者茶水，休息/午餐室(A214, A217共25人)/資訊網路等已安排預約。

用戶及講演者之註冊及報到已規劃。(19日早及下午Facility

tour 前): 資料裝袋(14日); 報到支援(19/20日早)

Accommodation and venue traffic regulation

所有講員之行程已確認。住宿、接送(回旅館行程)，已完成安排。

與會用戶招待所住宿已完成登記註冊及安排。

會議期間之交通管制時間已訂定 8:00 – 17:00 為訪客優先停車時段，請同仁在此期間使用大停車場。將於近日公告，並請總務室協助執行。

會場動線標示已規劃，10月18日完成標示

大會宴之交通(中心-煙波飯店-中心)已安排。

Banquet/Prize and awards 大會宴 已規劃於煙波飯店舉行。一般合菜登記有250人。蔬食自助餐點為50份。餐點細節接洽中。 預計 600 NT/人。餐點人數將於10月7日前再作確認(大會宴會蔬食獨立登記)。

大會宴主席，依慣例為UEC 主席本屆為李志浩教授。大會晚宴預計邀請UEC 委員，各演講者(含學生講演者)，與用戶直接接觸之相關同仁(控制室，光束線負責人，經理等，用戶行政)。主任，副主任，及各大組主管等為當然邀請參與人員。另邀請劉遠中，鄭伯昆顧問及梁耕三顧問，及陳建德特聘研究員。

大會宴中將預計頒發poster 優勝獎 12名。

講員接待晚宴(10/19)及講員宴(10/21), 已徵得副主任，主任同意，分別為當晚之餐會主席;

10/20 (四) 大會宴頒獎內容~~

1. Science, Nature 各一名：每人 12,000 元+水晶獎盃

2. 光束線研究團隊 13 B1、13C1、SP12U1 三條光束線分別給 12,000 元

3. 年輕學者比賽&學生壁報比賽分三組 (每組有 6 位學生+2 位年輕學者=8 位口

報告)

每組第一名獎金 8,000 元+獎狀，其餘為佳作~~獎金 2,000 元+獎狀

若每組第一名為年輕學者，則再取一名學生為第一名，頒發獎金 8,000 元+

Through the meeting Look forwards to achieve the followings

Communication between users and NSRRC Managers/policies

Stimulate/promote the use of NSRRC facility through user mutual interactions/research work presentations

Promote synchrotron small angle X- ray/neutron scattering and XPCS for research in soft matter and nanomaterials

Build connections between the SAS and XPCS beamline spokespersons (2 SAXS, 2SNAS, 4XPCS , 1NR beamline spokesperson).

Introduce NSRRC 3-GeV project and domestic soft matter research community to foreign speakers for more international visibility (two journal editors in the speakers).
