Коли Ісус увійшов у Капернаум, приступив до нього сотник, благаючи його словами: “Господи, слуга мій лежить дома розслабле-ний і мучиться тяжко.” Ісус каже до нього: “Я прийду й оздоровлю його.” Тоді сотник у відпо-відь мовив: “Господи, я недостойний, щоб ти ввійшов під мою покрівлю, але скажи лише слово і слуга мій видужає. Бо і я теж підвлад-ний чоловік, маю вояків під собою, і кажу цьо-му: Іди, – і йде, а тому: Ходи, – і приходить; і слузі моєму: Зроби це, – і він робить.” Почув-ши це Ісус, здивувався і сказав тим, що за ним ішли: “Істинно кажу вам: Ні в кого в Ізраїлі я не знайшов такої віри. Кажу вам, що багато при-йде зо сходу й заходу, і засядуть з Авраамом, Ісааком та Яковом у Царстві Небеснім, а сини царства будуть викинуті геть у темряву кромі-шню, де буде плач і скрегіт зубів.” І сказав Ісус сотникові: “Йди, хай тобі станеться за твоєю вірою!” І видужав слуга тієї ж години.

As he entered Caper'na-um, a centurion came for-ward to him, beseeching him and saying, "Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, in terrible dis-tress." And he said to him, "I will come and heal him." But the centurion answered him, "Lord, I am not wor-thy to have you come under my roof; but only say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to one, `Go,' and he goes, and to another, `Come,' and he comes, and to my slave, `Do this,' and he does it." When Jesus heard him, he marveled, and said to those who followed him, "Truly, I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such faith. Бо так, як ви колись відда-вали ваші члени на служіння нечистоті і безза-конню, щоб жити беззаконно, так тепер від-дайте ваші члени на служіння праведності, на освячення. Коли ж ви були слугами гріха, ви були вільні від праведности. Які ж плоди ви тоді мали? Того ви тепер соромитеся, бо кі-нець їхній - смерть. Тепер же, звільнившися від гріха і ставши слугами Богові, маєте ваш плід на освячення, а кінець - життя вічне. Бо заплата за гріх - смерть, а дар ласки Божої - життя вічне в Христі Ісусі, Господі нашім.

You having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness. I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For just as you once yielded your members to impurity and to greater and greater iniquity, so now yield your mem-bers to righteousness for sanctification. When you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to right-eousness. But then what return did you get from the things of which you are now ashamed? The end of those things is death. But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the re-turn you get is sanctification and its end, eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

W e would like invite you and your family and friends to the Feastday of our parish and St.

Volodymyr’s church. The Feastday will be held on July 28, 2013 AD. On Saturday, July 27

at 5 pm will be Great Vespers with Lytia. On Sunday, July 28 Divine Liturgy will be at 10

am. After Liturgy the Renewal of Baptismal vows and Minor Blessing of water will be conducted.

Then at 12:30 pm, there will be a Festive Lunch

Ticket for the Lunch: adult — $ 20, teenagers (12-16 years old) — $10 children — for free. Tick-

ets could be purchased at the parish 6247 2141 in Mrs. Olha Domitriak 6297 4053 (in Queanbey-
