材 質：耐火土、柳杉木、赤陶

手工製成的柳杉木蒸籠，以赤陶代替一般全竹的

蒸籠底盤。透氣吸水的赤陶材質，使蒸煮的食材

不會有過多水氣殘留，避免食材過度濕軟。

優質耐火土製成的蒸鍋鍋身對溫度變化有卓越的

耐受性，打破一般陶瓷無法直火加熱的限制。

The steamer basket replaces the traditional bamboo base with terracotta.

This natural material has efficient liquid absorbing characteristics, meaning

it can absorb any excess moisture generated during steaming, ensuring that

the food is perfectly moist.

The steamer pot and lid are made from fireproof ceramic, which has

excellent heat resistance compared to regular stoneware, making it less

likely to crack at higher temperatures. The JIA Inc. steamer pot can be used

on open flame gas stoves and in both conventional and microwave ovens.

Poacher is an extension which is design to enhance your

steaming experience. Honest and technologically simple

Steaming food has always been at the core of Chinese

gastronomy. The Steam Poacher, paired with the original JIA

Steamer Set, elevating the technique to new heights and

offering a range of exciting new culinary possibilities. The JIA

Steam Poacher is inspired by the concept of steamer pots

from China's Yunnan province, which circulate the steam to

distribute the heat more evenly. This method of cooking

preserves the natural flavor of the food along with the

With the help of rice cooking lid, measuring cup and spatula,

stainless steel and natural magnolia wood are beautifully crafted together in harmony.

Carbon steel is a material long used for making woks. It is strong, durable and conducts heat quickly and

evenly. No artificial coating is used, meaning it can be seasoned to create a natural non-stick coating.

Magnolia grows slowly and is characterized for its strength, density and hardness. The designer chose it

to go with carbon steel to form this unpretentious, highly functional wok design. The Wok and utensils

invites you to try out creative Chinese home cuisine and makes a pleasing focal point when presented on

the table.

As a continuation of the Sino Knives and Chopping Board Collection

the unique Scenery Knife Block Collection is delicately designed to

complement all kitchen knives flawlessly as storage.

The knife block made of bamboo is designated for the Sino Chinese

cleaver only with easy access and simple storage. The translucent

mat finish brings a poetic feel to the knife block and is especially

designed for ceramic knife. To extend the concept further, the

universal knife block and terra cotta utensil holder are introduced to

fit every kitchen knife and cooking utensils as ample storage. And the

best part is that you can be rearranged freely to suit every need in the

kitchen and utilize the space efficiently.

Knives and Chopping Board Materials : Bamboo, Stainless steel, Zirconium oxide ceramic

"Sino" is a compact set of kitchen knives with a unique Chinese character

designed to address most domestic cooking needs. The set includes a

large chef's knife and a smaller paring knife, both with advanced ceramic

blades which are specifically suited for cutting and slicing without the

need for regular re-sharpening. In contrast, the traditional Chinese

cleaver has a durable stainless steel blade which combines the weight

required for chopping with the sharpness necessary for more delicate

cutting operations. This careful consideration of materiality is further

reflected in the matching double sided chopping board.

Machined from laminated bamboo, it has an edge grain cutting side and an

opposing end grain chopping surface which can withstand the impact of

the cleaver without damaging its blade.

Ding, the oldest cookware in Chinese culture, is the origin of

culinary arts and all flavors. Inspired by ancient Chinese bronze

Ding, designer seamlessly merged the classic shape with

practical function, creates a Ding that fits modern cooking

needs.

CasseroleMaterials : Enameled cast iron, Silicone

To facilitate modern cooking requirements, Ding Casserole has a

flat base while legs have been incorporated in a separate stand.

The enameled interior contrasts with the matte black exterior

surface, providing a functional cooking surface.

Rolling MortarMaterials : Porcelain, Oak, Silicone

The more the wheel roles, the more flavorful life is. The more flavorful

life is, the closer you are to home.

Just a few rolls from the wooden wheel pestle, keeps homemade flavors

on your mind.

Inspired by Chinese ancient ceramic tea mortars, “The Prep, Rolling

Mortar” is designed to crush mixed spices, tea leaves, Chinese　herb

medicines, and so on. Prepping for meals or condiments, it’s as easy as

rolling of a mortar.

Ding鼎

「鼎，三足兩耳，和五味之寶器也。」鼎是中國最古老的

烹飪器具，也是一切美味的源頭。設計師賦予傳統的鼎簡

潔流暢線條，將三足造型化為貼心設計，更符合現代人的

烹飪習性。

懷著對家常美味醇厚的思念，手持木製碾輪於陶瓷碾槽中來

用於搗碎混合香料、茶葉、中藥材等，是用以備膳或調製佐

Hulu Sauce DishMaterials : Stainless steel, Porcelain

Sauces have always been an important element of

Chinese cuisine. This set of miniature HULU are designed

for the holding and pouring of various kinds of sauces.

在物資不是很充裕的年代，中國北方農民將曬乾的葫蘆剖半，

用來舀水、淘米。吃飯的工具就是重要的家當，連系一家人上

桌，象徵家。在擁有一切的富足社會中，JIA Inc. 重新詮釋這

個質樸的食皿，讓人重新思考家的意義。

In the past, farmers from Northern China used naturally dried

HULUs (gourds) to scoop water and wash rice. Tableware and

eating utensils were considered essential family belongings that

connected everyone to the same table, symbolizing harmony and a

sense of home. Today, people acquire material desires too easily,

losing the sense of attachment to ordinary objects. JIA Inc.

reinvents traditional family objects using porcelain to give new

meaning to simple, rustic utensils and to encourage the reflection

of the true meaning of family and home.

囍相逢油醋瓶 材 質：口吹玻璃、不銹鋼、矽膠

取樣葫蘆天生玲瓏的形貌，重新詮釋西方餐桌上成

對的油醋瓶組，靈動的線條設計，外型彷如一對戀

人合舞，相偎相依。一如中國的「囍」字，成雙成

對。

Hulu Pas De Deux Oil & Vinegar SetMaterials : Mouth blown glass, Stainless steel, Silicone

In this re-interpretation of the oil and vinegar set,

flowing and intersecting lines are cleverly incorporated

into the curvatures of the gourd. HULU Pas de Deux

portrays a couple caressing forms in dance and implies

a link to the Chinese character 囍(Xi), “double happiness”.

吉如意椒鹽罐材 質：壓克力、不銹鋼、矽膠

取樣葫蘆無拘束曲線，貌如不倒翁，天生搖擺。風

水之說中，葫蘆具有避邪趨吉之效。其形體狀似中

In Feng-Shui, the gourd serves as the instrument to block

the evil and invite the good. And the shape of the gourd

also resembles the Chinese character of “吉(Ji)” –

meaning good fortune. Using high quality acrylic, HULU

Salt & Pepper Set serves such as the lucky charm and a

happy element on the dining table.

Admire the landscape of four seasons while savoring each season's specialty. Different tints of the glass layered out display an example of beauty just as in a calligraphic painting, while the clear translucence of a spring plate, a summer glass, an autumn bowl and a winter cup complete the full cycle of another year.

「埏埴以為器，當其無，有器之用。故有之以為利，無之以為

用。」 《老子道德經 第十一章》

平、凈、圓潤、舍棄多餘線條，讓用者與觀者關註器皿與食物本

身，因為有了器皿內的空間，才發揮了器皿承載物的作用，設計

師以老子哲學「有無相生」發想：「有」予人便利，乃因營造的

「無」發揮了作用。這組盤碗，簡化幾近至無的設計，僅於細節

處做變化，讓饌食特色得以完整呈現。

DinnerwareMaterials : Porcelain

Clay is fashioned into vessels; but it is on their empty hollowness, that their

use depends. Therefore, what has a (positive) existence serves for

profitable adaptation, and what has not that for (actual) usefulness.

The minimal design and the attention to details are to awaken the sense of

touch while in use. With no ambition to translate the philosophy of the center

figure of Chinese Taoism, Lao Tsze (500B.C.), designer tries to record her

understanding for this master’s thinking:harmony between the being (有you)

and the non-being (無wu). To keep the design as minimal as possible is to

encourage the user to notice the void emptiness, the hollow part that people

put food in/on.Consistent and floating lines in this series have made your

own free combination on the table a fun and an artistic event.

人習慣一道菜接著一道菜上桌，中國人的餐桌上，涼拌熱

炒、雞鴨魚肉、湯水點心⋯ 常常是熱鬧齊上桌，歡樂分

享。竹與陶瓷兩種溫潤樸質的傳統材質，在設計師匠心設

計下，微斜的碗口且現代簡約的線條，讓食物能更清楚被

呈現，適宜用餐分享，以傳統工藝精心製作，展現獨特手

作的溫暖觸感。尺寸各異的大碗小碗，就是一家人吃飯的

溫暖。

Bamboo meets Porcelain. Made Purely by Hand

Bamboo and porcelain, two quintessentially warm Chinese

materials, are combined through innovative techniques and made

purely by hand to create tableware suitable for contemporary use.

Chinese love to eat. Besides that, Chinese love to eat with a full

table, with everything served and on display at the same time.

These family bowls share a simple slanted rim. The combination of

porcelain and bamboo creates warmth and love for a family meal.

盤 材 質：陶瓷、竹

自然材質竹與瓷，創造出桌上另一場生動空

間。彷若夏日蓮葉浮於水面，盤底與桌面的

距離，除了使用上拿取的便利，也創造了

「蓮葉何田田，魚戲蓮葉間」的動態趣味。

透過全手工製作，竹瓷兩種溫暖材質的結

合，更添溫潤細膩的手感。

米通瓷，亦稱玲瓏瓷。製作時，於泥坯上細心刻出米粒狀

鏤孔，填入玲瓏釉料，再入窯焙燒而成。紛雪系列的線條

簡潔純粹，下緣表面無釉處理，更添細膩手感。除了作食

皿使用，亦是生活空間裡恬淡逸雅的美物。其設計沿襲古

代米通工藝，技成八瓣葉狀，其冰瑩剔透，似雪。影隨光

走，猶如冬時細雪，靜悄紛紛。

Rice grain porcelain is a traditional Chinese porcelain technique

dating back to the Ming dynasty (A.D. 1368). It is characterized

by a refined and semi translucent finish. Adopting this

traditional craftsmanship, RICE plays with the subtle contrast

between glazed and un-glazes finishes to create a set of daily

dinnerware with a delicate sophistication.

'Taste' is a tabletop condiment set which allows for a wide range of

seasoning and condiments to be assembled to suit individual taste

and culinary customs - Western and Asian alike. Hiding the transpar-

ent glass bottles in a plywood stand, the condiment set invites

discovery. Ingeniously, the round-bottom design of the bottles

prevents them from standing on their own, prompting the user to

return them to the stand after use and that way ensuring the table

remains orderly and uncluttered.

Snack Box Materials: Bio degradable EPA Melamine

Snack boxes originated from Six Dynasties and during Ming dynasty it

was known as “Quan” boxes. People took the pronunciation of "Quan",

which is the homonym to the Chinese character signifying "complete" or

even "perfection".

Small and large boxes with a combination of opaque and smooth

surfaces, as well as a variety of colour selections, can be piled up or used

individually, allowing you to maximise your creativity on the dining table.

Dou Plate

Materials : Bio degradable EPA Melamine

The high-stemmed “Dou” plates were dinnerware from early Qin dynasty

used for ceremonies. The tall and slender stem of the plate was designed

based on how nobles sat kneeling down, and such design allows you to

take food out conveniently from teh plate. An irregular surface adds a

touch of tenderness to the plates.

This Dou plate reinvented by modern methods with different heights can

make your dining table more colourful; they can also be used to decorate

your home.

本建築大師黑川雅之(Masayuki Kurokawa)及韓國新銳設

計師宋承容(Seung Yong Song)，根據各自的專業領域與

經驗，讓碗與筷，以不一樣的心境與意境，讓你感受

大地藏無盡的豐碩與富饒，體會人生的百般況味⋯

Bowl and chopsticks are such a fundamental combination of

dinning utensils not only in Chinese culture but also in Japan

and Korea. Through globalization, the bowl and chopsticks

culture is now widely adopted in North America and Europe.

JIA invited Masayuki Kurokawa and Seung Yong Song who

have extraordinary professional backgrounds to design

something ordinary such as the bowl and chopsticks.

FUDO - Bone ChinaDesigner : Masayuki Kurokawa

Materials : Bone China, Ebony, Stainless steel

In searching for the origin of the bowl and chopsticks, design Masayuki Kurokawa is inspired by the two

elements that nurture all living begins, wind and soil or in this native language “Fudo”. The result are a bowl

with profile that is a direct yet subtle symbolization of palms slowly closing in on mouth and a pair if chopsticks

represents twigs, which are perhaps the ultimate origin of these two utensils.

Seung Yong Song reinterprets the

warmest and fondest memories in this

simple porcelain bowl. Though hard as

stone, carries the joy and tenderness felt

at home. The bamboo lid, once lifted,

reveals the steam from food reminiscent

happiness from family gathering. Pleasure

is an effortless thing, and this simple bowl

brings back the simple satisfaction in life.

In imitating the calligraphic lines of Shou Jin Ti

created by the emperor Song Hui Zong who wrote

with lightness and speed without losing the body of

each stroke, designers combine the calligraphic

lines with stainless steel and POM to translate the

Asian esthetics of movement and strength into this

cutlery set. The handle of the cutlery match the

finishing brushstroke in calligraphy while the

thickness is ideal for the force exerted by each user.

bronze Ding, designer seamlessly merged the classic

shape with practical function, creates a Ding that fits

modern cooking needs.

蘆。葫蘆中式酒水組因應亞洲國家飲酒習慣，不論

Hulu Liquor Container and GlassMaterials : Heat resistant double wall glass,

The HULU has been used for natural containers since

the Chou Dynasty (1066 BC-770 BC). In wedding

ceremonies of this period, brides and grooms

exchanged drinks from a HULU that was cut into two

halves. This ritual symbolized the harmony of yin and

yang, while the making of one entity from two parts

represented the beginning of the Home for newlyweds.

In Asian countries, wine/liquor is consumed both

warm and cold. When used for either temperature of

wine, the double wall mouth blown wine glass keeps

the wine in desirable temperature for longer period.

The wine decanter takes the organic form of the

HULU, enlivening the dining experience. When

in use, wider round body allows enough room

for aeration. Stainless steel filter can separate

the decanter to optimize the exposure to air.

Clay is fashioned into vessels; but it is on their empty hollowness, that their use

depends. Therefore, what has a (positive) existence serves for profitable adaptation,

and what has not that for (actual) usefulness.

The minimal design and the attention to details are to awaken the sense of touch

while in use. With no ambition to translate the philosophy of the center figure of

Chinese Taoism, Lao Tsze (500B.C.), designer tries to record her understanding for

this master’s thinking:harmony between the being (有you) and the non-being (無

wu). To keep the design as minimal as possible is to encourage the user to notice the

void emptiness, the hollow part that people put food in/on.Consistent and floating

lines in this series have made your own free combination on the table a fun and an

artistic event.

JIA Inc. to be the first brand with Chinese heritage to

participate in 2010 August “Handmade” issue. Using

a combination of purple clay and bamboo, JIA Inc.

created the “JIA Inc. X Wallpaper*”- Picnic Plate Set.

First launched during the 2011 Salone del Mobile

Milan, the design is a testimony of Eastern sensibility

and Western streamlines aesthetic.

Palace Museum, with modern design approaches, JIA Inc.

attempts to across the boundaries between royal

artefacts and daily objects and offers an alternative

translation on classics from emperors' house to items

Designer of the year, 2000, Paola Navone is praised for her

trend setting work in architecture, interior and product

design. In 2012, Parisian boutique store Merci invited Paola

Navone and handpicked JIA Inc.’s “Emptiness” series for

collaboration. The canvas like nature of the design injected

with Paola’s signature vibrant yet minimalistic patterns

resulted in a joint effort between Taiwan and Italy and has

become a rare masterwork that has captivated the world.

獎肯定，並曾獲選為2000年Designer of the Year，作品橫

跨建築、室內設計與產品設計，展現濃厚的文化混合特

135 year anniversary, Ying Kee commissioned JIA Inc. to design and

produce a special limited edition tea box set to celebrate quality family

time over a cup of world class tea. Look back over a hundred years on

how tea has always been an essential part of family gatherings and a

reflection in Chinese values. Brew a pot of Pu-Erh tea and drink tea

while the moonlight shines on this full-bodied of tea. And build a

bridge of dialogue between generations during this daily ritual of
