ACEND Invites ProgramAccreditation Input

Accredited dietetics education pro-grams are periodically reviewed toensure they uphold the standards setforth by the Accreditation Council forEducation in Nutrition and Dietetics(ACEND). Part of the program reviewprocess is the consideration of third-party input on a program’s practices,procedures, and educational out-comes. Members with concern as to aprogram’s compliance with the stan-dards are encouraged to forward theircomments to ACEND. A list of programsunder review for candidacy or fullaccreditation and a corresponding sitevisit scheduled is available at http://www.eatright.org/ACEND/content.aspx?id�7974. The Accreditation Sta-ndards are located at www.eatright.org/acend.
