Preparing the area

• Clear weeds and debris from the area

• Maintain 1 m radius free from other vegetation

• For plantations, seedlings should have 2 m distance in a row, with 3 m distance between the strips

Planting the seedling

• Dig a plant hole with 20x20x20 cm dimensions

• Plant the seedling in an upright position, at a proper depth

• Root collar should be at level or a little below soil surface

• Fill with soil, press firmly around the base

Caring for the seedling

• Remove weeds and cultivate soil around 50 cm from the base, once every quarter, for 2-3 years

• Place mulch around the base (grass, leaves, other materials for a mulch base

• Prune braches, ideally during dry season

• Remove infected vegetation• Monitor regularly for

diseases or pests
