Temple Chin Swee
Tranquil, peaceful and serene, time slows down
immensely at this temple. It was here at this very sitethat in 1966, the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong got an
inspiration from the Chin Swee Deity to proceed with
the development of the Resort. Intricate carvings
decorate the temple walls, lined with many statues of
various Buddhist deities. A pagoda stands tall, offering
visitors a bird’s eye view of the mountains. Other areas
of particular interests at the Temple would be the Nine-
Colour Dragon Wall of Luck and the Chambers of Hell.
If you would like to do a spot of praying, take a walk
down to the cave temple itself, where friendly temple
assistants are more than happy to guide you through
the process. It is also an ideal place to enjoy a nice
vegetarian meal, available at their restaurant.

Situated along one of the longest coastlines
in Malaysia is Awana Kijal Golf, Beach & Spa
Resort. It’s a rare destination where everyone

water crystalline, the culture and heritage still
evident in every rustic village that surrounds
its environs. Largely unsullied by the excessesof modernity, there is a calmness and serenity
about the people and the resort. Always
graceful, and ever obliging, you will be
