    1. Global switches. iu khin v p thng s tng th cho nhiu thit lp ring ca V-ray, bng ny thng c s dng chnh trong vic tng tc render th. Khi tt cc thng s trong bng ny th khi render Vray s khng tnh ton cc chc nng na.

    -Reflection/Refraction Bt hay tt tt c Phn chiu v khc x trong cnh. -Max depth iu khin su ca phn chiu v khc x (s ln tia sng c phn chiu/khc x trc khi n b b qua trong qu trnh d tia). -Override materials Khi c s dng,tt c cc i tng trong cnh c cng mt vt liu l 1 mu c chn trong mc Override materials Color -Light Tt bt ton b nh sng. -Default Lights Tt bt nhng ngun sng mc nh trong Vray. -Show GI Only Tt bt tnh ton GI. -Hidden Lights n n/ngun sng trong khung hnh. -Shadow Tt bt tnh ton bng .

    2. System.

    Mt bng bao gm rt nhiu cc thng s iu khin chung khc ca Vray.

    -Dynamic memory l dung lng ram ti a cho php Vray s dng thc hin qu trnh tnh ton. Ngng ny trnh tnh trng my b treo khi Vray huy ng vt qu dung lng ram thc c trn my ca bn. Lightcache l qu trnh tn kh nhiu dung lng ram nn bn cn phi tng gi tr Dynamic memory ln p ng nhu cu ny. Tuy nhin gi tr ny khng nn cao hn gi tr Ram hin c trn my, thng t vo khong 80-90% lng ram c. phn cn li dnh cho system v cc ng dng khc. + Gi tr 1000 tng ng vi 1G ram. -SettingsRegion Generator iu khin hp render: -Width v Height iu khin chiu cao v rng ca hp render. Cho nhng hnh render c phn gii thp, bn c th gim chng xung, vi hnh ln hn, ban li tng chng ln. -Region sequence : l la chn th t hp render s i theo. -Reverse sequence : o ngc li th t chn trong Region sequence. -Distributed rendering : iu chnh qu trnh render nh vi nhiu my tnh mt lc.

    3.Camera. Camera type

    Type : La chn 2 kiu camera hay dng nht : - Default : ng dng render phi cnh thng 3 im t - Cylindrical (Orthor) : ng dng render phi cnh trc o 0 im t.

    * CameraPhysical - Camera vt l : Tnh nng Camera vt l trong Vray cho php camera bn s dng to ra nhng hiu ng tng t nh hiu ng ca camera tht.Dng tnh nng ny kim sot vic th hin nh sng trong qu trnh render vi kh nng nh ang iu chnh mt ci my nh.

    -Tch vo On kch hot s dng CameraPhysical

    -Type : Loi Camera +Still Camera : s dng cho cnh tnh -ng vi trng hp Render nh + Movie Camera v video

    Camera :s dng cho cnh ng-ng vi trng hp render hot cnh,phim.

    -Shutter Speed -tc mn chp (Tc chp).Gi tr ny c tnh bng 1/x giy vi x l thng s trong Shutter Speed -gi tr ny cng ln th tc chp cng nhanh , hnh s ti hn v ngc li.

    - F-number - m ng knh.Thng s ny cng nh th m ng knh cng ln-nh cng sng v ngc li

    - Film Speed(ISO) phi sng ca khung hnh-t l thun vi sng ca khung hnh. - Distortion : To li- lm cho bc nh + Tng s dng- to li + Tng s m to lm - Lens shift : To loe trn di cho bc nh. ng dng render 2 im t. + Tng dng : Loe trn + Tng m : loe di. - Vignetting : To qung en xung quang 4 gc bc nh. - Zoom facter : zoom xa gn ca ng knh. - White Blance -Gi tr cn bng trng-Thay th tng mu tng th cho c khung hnh.

    4.Environment. (Mi trng)

    GI Color: Tnh ton nh sng mi trng. BG Color: iu khin nn cho mi trng.

    -TH1: M=TexSky: S dng ngun sng v nn l bu tri.

    -Sun chn Sun1.(Kch hot bu tri).

    -Sun: Tnh cht bu tri. -Enabled: Tt bt nh sng. -Sise : Kch thc nh mt tri, mc nh l 1.0. Thng s cng ln bng cng nhe v ngc li ( Thng t 8-12). - Horizon : chi sng ca bu tri - tc ng n sng khung cnh l chnh -Tubidity : S lng bi trong khng kh nh hng ti mu sc ca bu tri. +Gi tr nh (2-4) cho bu tri trong xanh ng vi bui sng (hoc vng qu). +Gi tr ln (8-15) cho bu tri cng tng sc vng cam ng vi bui chiu ti (hoc cc vng thnh ph ln). -Intensity : sng (chi) ca nh sng mt tri. mc nh l 1.0 -Ozone :nh hng ti mu sc nh sng mt tri.Gi tr nh cho nh sng mu vng. Gi tr ln cho nh sng mu xanh. -Invisible : Khi c tch mt tri s b n trong khung hnh.

    -Sampling: Tnh cht cc ht nh sng -Photon Subdivs : Lng Photon pht xa nh sng. Thng s nh hng ti cht lng nh Sng. Cng cao cht lng cnh p v ngc li.( Ren tht t 1000-1500) -Caustic Subdivs : nh sng bu tri nh hng ti t quang. -Shadows: iu khin bng ca nh nng. -On : Tt bt bng . -Bias : lch tia bng . -Subdivs : mn ca bng , c nh hng kh ln n thi gian render ( Ren th t 8,16 Ren tht t 24-32). -Color : Mu ca bng .

    5.Image Sampler (Tnh ton chng phn mnh): Type C la chn tnh ton kh rng ca:

    - Fixed rate l phng php rt d on trc kt qu, tuy nhin y li l phng php chm nht. S dng phng n ny nu c qu nhiu vt liu s dng hiu ng chi sng glossy hay s dng bng theo vng (area shadows), nhe chuyn ng (motion blur) ... Subdivs cao hn ngha l cht lng cao hn v thi gian render cng lu hn.

    -Adaptive DMC l kiu c dng nhiu nht, y l phng php ly mu theo iu chnh, n s iu chnh tnh ton ca n cho ph hp vi hon cnh. N s so snh cht lng ca im nh c tnh ton v quyt nh n tt cha hay tnh ton thm na.

    S dng adaptive DMC nu bn c nhiu vt liu s dng hiu ng chi sng glossy hay s dng bng theo vng (area shadows), nhe chuyn ng (motion blur) ...,

    -Adaptive subdivision Mc d n rt nhanh trong nhiu trng hp nhng n c th tr nn rt chm nu nh c nhiu hiu ng chi sng trong cnh. S dng phng php ny nu bn mun mt vng rng mn trong cnh (v d nh ni tht vi nhng mng tng trng ln). T l min/max iu khin cht lng, 0/2 l mt t l kh tt, -2/-1 cng rt tt cho vic render th.

    6.DMC Sampler.

    DMC sampler c th c coi l ni iu chnh tng th cht lng render. N iu khin tt c cc thng s c lin quan ti tnh ton nh adaptive DMC, Irradiance map, Glossy effects, area shadows,..

    - noise threshold L thng s quan trng nht, l n iu khin s chnh xc ca cc tnh ton. Thit lp cho cht lng cao nht l 0.001,nhng n yu cu thi gian render di nht.(Thng thng t 0.005) -Global Subdivs mult c th c s dng tng/gim tt c cc thng s subdivision trong cnh (Irradiance map, DMC GI, glossies, area shadows,...). N rt cn thit khi mun render th tht nhanh bng cch gim xung di 1.

    7. Color mapping.

    Color mapping c th c s dng lm hu k mt bc nh trong V-Ray. -Typer c cc la chn: +Linear Multiply:Kiu ny s tnh h s nhn mu sc cui cng 1 cch n gin da trn cc vng sng ca nh. Nhng mng mu qu sng s b ct b. iu ny c th gy ra nhng im sng chi (chy) gn ngun sng. +Exponential: Kiu ny s bo ha cc mu sc da trn sng ca chng.Hn ch c nhng im chy cc vng qu sng (gn ngun sng). Tnh ton kiu ny s khng loi b bt mu ( sng) m s bo ha chng ra. +HSV Exponential: Kiu ny kh tng ng vi Exponential, ch khc l n vn gi li cht mu v bo ha ca mu, thay v a chng v gn mu trng (i vi cc vng sng) +Intensity Exponential: : Kiu ny kh tng ng vi Exponential, ch khc l n vn gi li t l mu RGB ca cc vng mu v ch nh hng n cng ca mu sc. +Gamma Correction: Kiu ny p 1 biu Gamma vo cc mu sc. Trong trng hp ny, h s nhn Dark munltiplier l h s nhn chung cho mu sc trc khi chng c hiu chnh Gamma. Cn h s Bright Munltiplier l h s nghch o ca gi tr Gamma (trong Global Switches). +Intensity Gamma: Kiu ny p 1 biu Gamma vo cc mu sc, thay v tng knh mu (R,G,B) c lp +Reninhard: Kiu ny s dng s pha trn gia Exponential v Linear Multiply. Nu gi tr Burn Value l 1.0 kt qu ging nh Linear Multiply. Cn nu l 0.0 th kt qu l Exponential --- > Reninhard v Exponential l nhng type hay c dng.

    ngha ca cc thng s khc: - Bright Munltiplier: H s nhn ca cc mu sng. - Dark munltiplier: H s nhn ca cc mu ti. - Gamma : Thng s quan trng iu khin mc tng phn r rt gia cc vng sng-ti. V d ta ren cng trnh thy vng bng m nht ta c th cho thp xung, khi bng s m hn, khung cnh su hn.Nhng nh sng khung cnh s ti i. khi ta phi tng sng ton khung hnh bng cch chnh CameraPhysical.

    - Sub Pixel mapping: Ty chn ny iu kin color mapping s c tc dng vi tt c pixel trong hnh cui hay ch vi mu n l c dng tnh.Khng chn th tt hn. - Clamp output: tt. - Affect background: Bt ty chn ny th hiu chnh color mapping s c tc dng ln c mu sc thuc v phn Background (Nu dng Background ca Photoshop th khng nn dng tnh nng ny).

    8. VFB Channels. Chc nng tch cch lp cho nh render. Khi chn thm 1 lp tng ng trong bng. qu trnh render s tch v tnh ton thm cho cc lp y. khi lu nh dng nh bt k. s c thm file tch lp tng ng.

    9. Output.(nh kch thc hnh render).

    -Width/Height tr s chiu di v cao ca nh render: c th nhp ty hoc la chn cc kch thc c sn trong hng tng ng. -Get view aspect : p t l Width/Height ca nh render l t l Width/Height ca khung nhn trong giao din mn hnh. Khi nh render cui cng s khp vi nhng g nhn thy trong khung cnh mn hnh. -Nt L ca Image Aspect l kha t l gia Width /Height

    -Nt L ca Picxel Aspect Ratio l kha t l gia Width /Height ca tng picxel trong hnh c render. Thng thng gi tr 1.0

    -Save file khi c chn s t ng lu li file render vi nh dng t chn v v tr lu file.

    -Animation on : Kch hot Render hot cnh. -Frame Rate : nh dng video, chn custom thay i ty s khung hnh /1giy c nh trong FPS

    10. Indirect Illumination.(Tnh ton lng nh sng gin tip).

    On : Kch hot tnh ton GI Reflective GI Cautics : Kch hot GI tnh ton T quang cho phn x Refractive GI Cautics : Kch hot GI tnh ton T quang cho khc x -Suturation: Mc nhum mu.Mc nh hng mu sc ca cc i tng ng cnh nhau. Thng thng: - Render Ngoi tht nn tng ( >1) nh c su hn, tng quan hn. - Render Ni tht nn gim xung ( 0.5-1) cho i tng c gi nguyn mu sc - Ambient occlusion : To nt giao gia cc mt phng. + On : Kch hot + Amount : m ( 0.5-> 1.5) + Subdivs : mn ( 8-16-24-32..) + Radius : rng ca nt ( Ni tht 0.3 ->0.5) -Cc thng s khc nn gi mc nh. * tnh ton lng nh sng gin tip trong khung cnh c Render, Vray s dng 2 Engine chnh v ph tnh ton: -Primary bounces : Biu Tnh ton ngun sng ny bt ch o. Vi 4 la chn : Irrdiance Map, Photon Map, Brute force, Light Cache.

    >> Irrdiance Map l la chn tt

    -Secondary bounces : Tnh ton ngun sng

    Khi la chn tng ng cho cc biu chnh v ph th cc menu i km cng thay i trong bng Option ny.

    ** nh ngha cho ngun sng: - Ngun sng trc tip Direct Light L lng nh sng c pht trc tip t ngun sng. Trong trng hp khng chn GI, Khng chn bt c Engine no trong qu trnh Render nh sng gin tip th khung cnh ch tnh ton nh sng trc tip m thi. - Ngun sng ny bt ch o Primary bounces L lng nh sng phn x ra b mt vt th ln u tin. Thng thng ngun sng ny l ngun sng ch o trong vic xc nh nh sng bt ny ca mi trng khi bn thn ca chng vn cn gi c nhiu nng lng sau khi phn x khi b mt vt th. - Ngun sng bt ny th yu Secondary bounces L lng nh sng cn li sau khi nh sng c pht tn bng ngun sng gin tip ch o. Lng nh sng ny pht tn ra ton b khung cnh, chng c tnh ton tt dn v to ra chi tit ca bng cng nh nh sng trong ton b khung cnh.

    10a. Irradiance Map- Primary bounces vi la chn l Irrdiance Map :Tnh ton lng nh sng ca ngun sng ny bt ch o bng bn Irradiance Map.

    Gi tr Min Rate : Gi tr ny kim sot s lng ti thiu (cn di) ca s mu c ly trn tng pixel. Gi tr 0 tng ng 1 pixel l 1 mu, Gi tr -1 c xem l 2 pixel c ly l 1 mu. Gi tr -2 tng ng 4 pixel l 1 mu. Gi tr cng nh tng ng lng mu c ly ra t i tng cn render cng nh. Do cht lng bng , tnh cht phn chiu hay khc x cng gim theo.

    Gi tr Max Rate: Gi tr ny kim sot gi tr ti a ca s mu c ly ra cho tng pixel. Gi tr 0 ~ 1 pixel dng cho 1 mu Gi tr 1 ~ 1 pixel dng cho 4 mu Gi tr 2 ~ 1 pixel dng cho 8 mu Gi tr ny cng nh th s lng mu dng lm tnh ton nh sng cng it theo. Gi tr ln th cht lng hnh cng s cao hn tng ng thi gian render s di hn.

    Ch l gi tr (Max Min) nn bng 3 c hiu qu tt nht. V d -4/-1, -3/0 2 gi tr ny khng nn qu nh s dn n tnh trng l sng ngay ti cc v tr ni nhau ca vt th. VD:

    Min/Max Rate = -8/-5 Min/Max Rate = -3/0

    Gi tr Min/Max Rate nn t l -3/0 l tt nht. Gi tr ny tng ng vi qu trnh render s tri qua 4 bc ( T -3, -2, -1 n 0). Do vy qu trnh render s tri qua 4 bc Prepass t 1 n 4.

    -Hshp. Subdivs ( HS) : Kh nng chia nh thnh phn ly mu ca ton khung hnh. HS cng ln s cho map c chia cng nh v hnh s c cht lng tt hn. Gi tr - Interp.Samples: Nn t l vi HS cho hnh tt hn. VD xem bn bc x sau vi cc im bc x (irradiance points) mu trng sau:

    10b. Brute force - Primary bounces vi la chn l Brute force .

    Vi la chn ny qu trnh tnh ton render s khng tri qua cc lt qut trung gian. Tuy nhin tng thi gian render kh lu so vi cc la biu khc

    -Brute force l phng php tnh ton render theo cch d tia. L biu tnh ton nh sng chnh xc nht trong Vray. Engine ny thng c dng render trong khung cnh c nhiu chi tit nh (ni tht) .Tuy nhin dng phng php ny thi gian render kh lu so vi cc phng php khc.Vi phng php ny th hnh c render trc tip m khng s dng nhng bc tnh ton m nh cc phng php khc.

    -So snh 2 phng php render:

    Irradiance Brute force

    Phng php Brute force c cht nhiu nhng c bn mu sc v bng c th hin tht hn. ->Biu Brute force cho nh snh chun hn, tuy nhin c hin tng noise - nhiu ht. -> gim hin tng nhiu ta ch cn tng gi tr subdivs ln khong 50,100 s gim ht noise

    V y l kt qu :

    u im: dng Phng php DMC d thc hin do c bng iu chnh t hn cc phng php khc. V hnh render khng b bn hay li l sng cng b loi b.

    KL:

    -Phng php Brute force thng dng cho nh render cui cng.

    -Phng php I Irrdiance Map cng hay dng kim tra nh sng chuyn sng. Tuy nhin nu nh render

    ra p ri thi` cng khng nn chuyn sang Brute force render na.

    11. Light Cahe Secondary Engine vi la chn l Light Cahe (LC) : Tnh ton nh sng cc ln phn x tip theo.

    -Subdivs: l 1 thng s kh quan trng. Gi tr ny kim sot s lng tia sng c s dng tnh ton nh sng ton khung hnh. S lng ca tia sng trong khung hnh c tnh bng bnh phng gi tr ca Subdivs .v d Subdivs l 1000 th s lng tia sng trong khung hnh l 1000.000 tia.

    xc nh s lng Subdivs ta nn ch ca s Log ca Vray.Quan st tng s lng mu ang c render v d on li s lng mu ty theo cc bc render. V d : Ly tm gi tr Subdivs 1000. Khi Vray tnh ton c na ng, tng ng lc ta thy c cc chm en trn khung hnh render bin mt gn ht th ta bit l s lng Subdivs ch cn t li cho khong 500-600 l va . Trng hp cc bc tnh ton xong cho phn Subdivs nhng vn thy cn kh nhiu chm en trn khung hnh vy thi` ta phi tng thm Subdivs c c kt qu trnh ton ng hn.

    Cc gi tr ty bin khc: - Sammle Size (SS) : cng kh quan trng . L kch thc mu .Gi tr ny ch ra khong cch gia cc

    mu trong LC . Gi tr nh tng ng cc mu nm gn nhau hn, hnh r nt hn v cnh chi tit hn. Tuy nhin s lm tng ht trong hnh render nu t qu nh. Tnh nng ny ly nhiu b nh nn thi gian thc hin render s tng tng ng. Gi tr SS ln s ly mt chi tit trong hnh render tuy nhin thi gian render s nhanh hn. Gi tr SS s ty thuc vo gi tr Scale ( LC) :

    - Scale : Kim sot kch thc ca SS. V b lc Filter Size : + Screen : Tng chi tit cho vt gn camera hn ( ni tht..) + World : Tng chi tit hn cc vt xa ( Quy hoch ) - Passes : LC c tnh ton qua 1 s bc nh sn to nn hnh cui cng. Mi 1 bc nh vy Vray

    s tnh ton vi nhiu bc c lp trn tng nhn CPU. Thng s ny nn t theo s nhn CPU ca my render. V nn t tnh nng Hyper Threadting.

    -Cc thng s khc nn gi mc nh.

    11. Caustics. (Tnh ton nh sng t quang)

Ty chn ny c th rt hu dng khi bn mun tnh ton photons map cho mt scene c th v sau s dng tip ch cao hn. - Auto save khi ch ny c bt, V-Ray s t ng lu caustics photon map vo mt ch khi qu trnh render kt thc. - Switch to saved map la chn ny ch tn ti khi ch Auto save c bt. N s t ng chuyn sang From file vi tn ca bn mi.

    Hin tng t quang: L hin tng nh sng t thnh qung, do hin tng phn x hoc khc x. Quanh cc vt liu bng nhn hoc trong sut u c c do nh sng b t li v to ra ngun nh sng ln hn bnh thng .

    11. Displacement. (iu khin ton b vt liu c tch cht Displacement Hiu ng chuyn v vt liu.)

Gi tr Edge length cng nh hnh c cht lng cao hn v ngc li.
