In my capacity as Coordinator of Spanish Language Courses at Tel Aviv University, I supervise the curriculum design and implementation of all new programs, including coordination of the "lector" program in conjunction with the Embassy of Spain in Israel.

I am currently involved in the design of a Spanish Teacher Training Program in collaboration with the Cervantes Institute in Tel Aviv, and am also preparing a Distance Learning Pilot Project in Spanish for the Dept. of Foreign Languages at Tel Aviv University.

I attend relevant congresses and conferences on a regular basis, and keep up to date through subscription to professional publications and the Internet. I run one of the global Internet Discussion Groups for Spanish teachers, ESPAN-L and take active part in many other such groups.

I have also coordinated Basic English Language Courses in the Dept.of Foreign Languages, Tel Aviv University, and helped to redesign the curricula for both the Besisi and Besisi II courses. In addition, I have been active in implementing the use of new technology in the language classroom.

I have completed my doctoral thesis on the cultural history of Argentina, specifically, on Victoria Ocampo and the SUR journal, intimately connected to the spread of Spanish language and culture.
